post your settingsI'm struggling to get this working on my 12PM, I've changed various settings with reboots and nothing shows in the phone section of settings?
you beauty, this worked a treat. i really like it but it doesn't work properly when screen is locked, that is a good feature but have found it a bit finnicky to unlock and stay on voicemail screen. all in all its so cool to have it. thank youIf you set your phones region to United States & reboot you’ll get live voicemail. I’ve had my phone like this since the beta and haven’t noticed any issues so far, you can set your metric and date preferences to UK etc
yeah agreed, the UX definitely needs some improving!you beauty, this worked a treat. i really like it but it doesn't work properly when screen is locked, that is a good feature but have found it a bit finnicky to unlock and stay on voicemail screen. all in all its so cool to have it. thank you
It was announced in the keynote as being for the US initially, so I wouldn't expect it in the UK until later (or ever, given what's not happened with Voicemail Transcription)So any idea if it will work on UK region when IOS 17 launches in September?
Nope.Any downside to changing region to US?
Thought would give it a go given the slight of spam callers lately
Only one I've spotted is that $ and £ change places on the keyboard so to get to £ you need to go to the #+= menu. And there's one app that I use that obviously uses the default currency because it's now showing my energy prices in dollars (same numbers just different currency symbol). Neither are significant.Any downside to changing region to US?

Wrong, it does apply to the UK as we want to operate within those markets.GDPR no longer applies in the UK thanks to certain political decisions.... so they should be more of a chance of it coming to the UK than the rest of the EU.
If this works on phone - I’ll be happy. I’m on Three who never added Visual voicemail, and this sounds like it bypasses networks?
Example ..The App Store region matches the region of the Apple ID that's currently signed in, not the region of the phone itself.
Maybe but it helps people who are not in the UK also .This is a thread about Live Voicemail in the U.K.
Since the transcription is only set up for north American English at this time, I don't expect it to handle any of the litany of UK dialects and accents
