ANYONE TRADE IN THERE OLD PROS FOR THE NEW?

But the T&Cs have no references to "extra" $150 or "when you order a new iPad Pro". It just says "order iPad Pro now", and the normal T&Cs regarding no cracks, etc.

I remember one of these promos from a few years ago, turned out I got the value of my iPad plus the gift card to purchase a new one..I think the 150 is for those who trade in an iPad Pro which is what I am trading in..but I will call best buy later and ask for sure but these promos are not knew..have done it before its always the trade in value PLUS the gift card either way I end up getting jipped..285 for the iPad Pro 9.7 128GB WiFi and a 150 gift card..still pathetic
Please do let us know what you find out. I also have the 128GB WiFi model. For $285, no way. But if they let me put $435 towards a new 10.5 (I only paid $575 for the 9.7), then I'm in.
I have also done these promos with Best Buy, in fact I did it this March and they gave me $100 for my old iPad 3, and I put it towards a 5th gen.
I agree with your reading. I can't explain why reps are saying different, but I read the conditions.
The gift card is not contingent on the purchase of another iPad. It's just for the trade-in that you can use for any product. It's like the promotion that I took advantage of a few months ago when I traded in my iPad mini with retina display and received a $176 GC.
Plus the language says minimum $150. If it was flat $150 on top of trade in value, it wouldn't say minimum. I bet if you check the trade in value of the least valuable trade-in, it would give you a value of $150. Does it really make sense that Best Buy would give you $300 for an ancient device?
Will keep you posted..I just know they have done this before..the 150 gift card is basically to purchase the new iPad..that is the sole purpose of it..reminds me of when I got the iPad two years ago they had a promotion trade in the iPad and get a 50 dollar coupon for a new one..so I was able to combine it..this kind of trade in promotion is nothing new I just have to verify it..cause seriously NO ONE wants my iPad from craigslist..not one sole I really dont understand why..when I sold previous iPads I was able to sell em in a matter of days
Everyone’s experience is certainly different. I’m sorry if you’ve ever gone through that. I, however, have not experienced that in my years of dealing with them. If I say it’s flawless, they give me the flawless price. If I say good, then they give me the good price quoted. I’ve dealt with them for my iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPhone 5s iPhone 6s and now my iPad Pro 9.7. One of the best trade in website companies I know!

And how does it work do they send you a check in the mail for that amount once they receive it?

You have a few options. Check (which I always choose), PayPal and Amazon gift card I believe. Once they receive the device the check is usually sent out within 48 hours and I have it in hand within another 3-5 days.

Figured I should put that out there since I’m giving so much info on them. They just typically offer the highest or second highest value that I find online. I also like that they communicate with you through the process.

Ok I just talked to best buy..its NOT the trade in value PLUS the 150..its the trade in value and if its LESS than 150 than you will get 150..if its above you will just get the total credit..so for me that would be 285 and its not worth it at that price will just stick to craigslist
While I appreciate your follow-up, I still believe you're incorrectly describing the offer. The T&Cs explicitly state "up to" $150, never "$150 minimum" which is what you're describing above. For example, if you're trading in an iPad 2, you're going to get ~ $60. Which is not related at all to the new Pro models, and is the standard trade-in offer. These "$150" promotions are just marketing activities by BB, not an enhanced offer, such as they've done in the past with "$100 minimum" etc.

Yeah I dont even want Lonzo..who needs the drama with him and his daddy..I called Best Buy(Apparently online chat you get people who have absolutely NO idea what they are talking about) the minimum 150 gift card is for those whose iPads are worth LESS than 150 so they are guaranteed 150 bucks..for someone like me with an iPad worth 285 according to best buy trade in, which honestly is a pathetic joke its worth MUCH more than that..I only get the 285 so forget that will just keep it on craigslist

Other iPads fall under the 'up to $150' offer, which could mean ~$15.
Yeah that is what makes the whole thing kind of confusing to me..since i Have an iPad Pro doesnt that mean that I would get the trade in value plus that gift card? I talked to someone again tonight from best buy and she said I would get both one doesnt know from the other thats the problem
What are you trading in, I mean a $285 credit towards a new iPad is awesome discount, I gave my Air 2 to Apple for $165 discount off the iPad, then Bestbuy gave me $420 for my old 2012 MacBook Pro, which Ive used $400 for Smart Keyboard, Pencil, and the stupid USB C charger. These accessories cost 50% of the darn iPad WTF
I want to trade in the iPad Pro 9.7 inch 128GB WIFI Rose Gold..purchased it on April 28th 2016 I think 285 I would be getting ripped off
