I want to trade in the iPad Pro 9.7 inch 128GB WIFI Rose Gold..purchased it on April 28th 2016 I think 285 I would be getting ripped off
I mean your getting about 50% of value of a new ones purchase price which today would be about $100 less then the original $700 with all the sales going on. Yah it may be a rip off but isn't it worth it to get a new one? I know it'll hurt a little but dont think about the trade in, think of it as a discount off the new iPad Pro, imagine you never owned the old one. Best of luck

yeah but basically spending 500 bucks out of pocket for a new one(Remember sales tax in CA is insane) not sure if its worth it..will just wait eventually someone will buy it from me might have to lower the price or haggle but someone will buy it

Yeah that is what makes the whole thing kind of confusing to me..since i Have an iPad Pro doesnt that mean that I would get the trade in value plus that gift card? I talked to someone again tonight from best buy and she said I would get both one doesnt know from the other thats the problem
No. You'd get $285.

That could work..but sending something through the mail(Even though I believe they pay for shipping) they like amazon can always say its scratched or whatever and offer me less..will wait..will see if anyone from craigslist bites..maybe the iPad Pro 9.7 isnt that popular of an iPad I never used to have to wait this long to sell it, in a matter of days I used to sell the old iPads I would be getting 10 emails within days asking to meet now not a peep

I think severe depreciation has swooped in like a thief in the night on the 9.7 pros. I quoted and sold mine the day of the apple event. Most of the sites I do business with are already quoting the same model for almost $100 less. It’s my guess that a lot of people have either sold theirs or its expected that the after-market demand for 9.7’s will be on the low side. I foresee it only getting worse. I hope someone bites on the sale for you :)

Hence, why I just hand down iPads to family members or keep them as backup. The depreciation hit is insane when you have top capacity and LTE.

I'm selling to a family member for the trade in price. I figure it's a bit of help for my purchase, and a bit of generosity since they can't buy one at that price.

I'd rather give it to an immediate family member but nobody wants the 12.9.

I've decided Air1 to 9.7 pro next year upgrade route.

No doubt o2 uk will have 9.7 pro's during 2018- got to content myself with Air 1 and 3rd bluetooth keyboard.

Any thoughts on reliabilty of Apple smart keyboards, I'm not finding much reliabilty at all with entry level 3rd party keyboards at all.
