Everybody I know including myself on all of my devices is having problems with the App Store in iOS 11.

It crashes constantly and often doesn’t display any updates unless you refresh the page.

Yes I did a couple of hours ago; I wanted to download an app I’d purchased in the past and the App Store said instead of choosing the app from the list of purchased apps, I’m required to do a general search for my app and I won’t have to purchase it again. So I did that but the app wasn’t free - even though I had previously purchased it. So I signed out of the App Store and signed back in. This time I could access all the apps I had previously purchased.
I also had several unable to connect to the App Store messages. I’m in Australia.

And why do the updates take 5 times longer to download and install than on iOS 10?
Similar type of issues were around in the early iOS 10 days. Perhaps it's something the the App Store redesign, perhaps it's something related to iOS 11 at this point, perhaps it's something else or a combination of things.

I have the same issues here in the US on my iPhone and iPad Pro. The never ending spinning wheel seems to be when the app is still paused in memory but hasn't been opened in a while. Force closing the app fixes it.

Always have to pull down to refresh for updates too. Its hard to file bug reports on this because they want a SPECIFIC SET OF STEPS to make this stuff happen and that kind of hard to figure out. I thought thats what we paid them for.......

It seems doing the public betas hasn't really helped much in the last few years. There are still really annoying bugs that are in the .0 releases. Back before public betas I think it forced Apple to put more polish on the X.0 releases. Many on the forums here have said they reported bugs back in early betas that never got fixed.

I’ve been having on-again, off-again issues with the App Store on all my devices on iOS 11.0.1 (iPhone 6+, iPad Air 2, and a brand-new iPhone 8+). A few app updates downloaded just fine this evening, albeit slower than they did under iOS 10, but most of the time nothing happens or it’s excruciatingly slow. Wifi is OK. Something’s definitely not right here.....

App store causing big problems on my iPhone 6. updating apps takes ages and stops other apps from loading. I have to restart phone to get working again.

I have an iPad Air running iOS 11.01 and when I give one tap on the app update button it doesn't respond. It always takes a second tap to start the download process. I can live with that but it is slightly annoying to me.It has been consistent in this behavior.

App Store now working for me, before he latest upgrade, think it was at apples end of things.

Not working for me. My app updates will never show unless I go to the App Store regularly and pull down on the screen to refresh. What’s the point of automatic updates if you actually have to do it yourself?

I often get a badge on the app icon notifying me of available updates, but I still have to swipe down to make them visible.
Hmmmm me too. A bit annoying, I like some aspects of the App store redesign but others in how it looks and works need some more fixing.

Still terrible and buggy.. just bought a new iPhone... App Store crashes, hiding purchases in purchased apps next to impossible...
