Their website says that the iPhone 15 model has the USB 2 spec with up to 480 Mb/s:

It doesn't say anything about the cable though.
Well they did spend some time mansplaining how the USB3 is faster than USB2 in the new chip in the pro as though we didn't all know USB 3 was faster years ago. The 15 has the old chip with old speeds.

Welcome to 2013 on the iPhone 15 Pro!

Looks like the color matched charging cable rumor was wrong? Didn't see it mentioned anywhere and the online store shows the same white cable no matter which color is selected.

Which is going to also get really really dirty

I'm looking at the comparison chart, and there's something I don't understand. The 15 Pro has 23 hours of video playback compared to 20 hours on the regular 15 -- but the Pro has fewer hours of audio playback than the 15: 75 instead of 80. Huh?

Now with 2X optical-like zoom, through the sheer power of marketing BS.
I'm genuinely interested to know the difference you will see between a "2x zoomed" 12-Megapixel image cropped from a 48 Megapixel sensor and a 12 Megapixel image from a 12 Megapixel sensor with 2x optical zoom, apertures being equal…

Action button means you have to wake the phone up to see if is on silent…..can’t look at phone to check.

I predict many more unwanted phones ringing in concerts plays meetings etc !
@midkay Am I wrong about this? How can you tell if an iPhone 15 is in silent mode without waking it up to see the dynamic island. Happy to be corrected. Like the action button except for this.

Not sure atm. Certainly you can press the button and feel the haptic feedback which tells you which mode it's in. Plus, this is only on Pro models with always-on display, which probably helps you keep an eye on it without even waking the display.

I mainly disagree with your comment in that I don't think this will matter to hardly anyone, even if the above weren't true. (1) Most people have their phone in a case, and can't see where the switch is at anyways without picking it up, so waking the screen with a tap would be easier (even if you had always-on disabled for some reason). (2) Most people just leave it on silent 100% of the time, so pretty rare to be toggling back and forth. Even if you do occasionally toggle it to normal mode, you probably did it consciously and won't be "losing track" of what mode it's in.

For vast majority of users, there will be no regression, and the button will actually be more useful for other things. It's simply a non-issue in my opinion. If you disagree, please explain why in detail! Cheers.

Those are fair points, though I can see the all important bit of red even when it is in a thickish case. You may well be right that the advantages will outweigh this disadvantage for "most" people. The question is how many is "most".....time will tell.

Really? I've got a slim leather case and need to be at least at a 45-60° angle to be able to see the red silent indicator. I’d much prefer to glance at or tap the screen than have to pick up the phone or crane my head way over to see it. Will be interesting for sure! I’m predicting it’ll be a hit with very few complaints. ;)

Apple's obsession with bragging about every nitty-gritty spec is the anti-thesis of Steve Jobs' ability to intersect science and humanity.
100%. Idk if this is just the new Apple, or if they’ve run out of other talking points as the iPhone and iOS are so mature at this point

Thank goodness for these colors. I have a rare condition that causes me to perceive colors as highly-oversaturated, so these incredibly bland, barely-colored shades have the gorgeous appearance of a fresh strawberry or a granny smith apple. I wish you all could see them this way.

There are a bunch of new camera features here that the 14 Pro models ought to be able to run just fine. If they don't bring them to those models it feels like a bit of a slap in the face to their best customers last year.
