They are discussing Apple pro apps for iPadOS. Likely optimized for the new M4. I keep thinking how we are stuck with soon iPadOS 17.5 limits, I wonder what iPadOS 18 will offer that reignites this marketplace with the M4 iPad Pro?

Hardware wise impressive announcements. Now let's see whether iOS 18 can bring the performance to the road systemwide. Will there be an improved Files/Finder? Can I use MacOS 15 on it?
The thing keeping me from spending a ton on another iPad is that I just can't load my software on there. There's no Superior Drummer for iPadOS. While some of that's been alleviated with having Logic Pro (and FCP) now on there, it's still an issue for me.

Oh cool, so now my M3 Pro MacBook Pro won’t be getting most of the new AI features announced in June because it’s already too weak and too old for that after half a year 🤪
If the iPad Pro is so thin and light that that’s a major selling point… why are we still using the iPad Air moniker for the lower model? Their naming scheme is just silly at this point.
It could have edge to edge display and the thin bezel gang would still not be pleased
Like all the other tested Apple products that bent when released to market, or didn’t work when you held them a certain way.
Magic keyboard is a nice improvement but the material on the outside marks faster than that on inside… and looks like angle is better too for screen…

Nice hardware but … with the crippled OS currently running on an iPad, what use is this?
The real concern is the terrible ergonomic conditions of the fake virtual office background in their live stream
vision pro not looking too hot with M2. whole ecosystem needs an update with the M4 iPad Pro
