Apple Announces New M2 iPad Air Models in 11-Inch and 13-Inch Sizes From $599

The iPad Air 13 was intriguing at first but upon comparing it to my 5th-gen M1 12.9, I'd lose:

XDR display/ProMotion
FaceID
extra rear camera (not really a factor)

...but gain:

M2
Apple Pencil Pro
landscape front camera

Apple was careful not to make the Air better than older Pros.

Just ordered my first iPad. I chose the 11-inch 256GB Air in (almost) blue. Used some employer credit and edu pricing so I got a sweet deal on it.
