Apple should really reduce the price of the old Magic Keyboard. I don't understand why both new and old cost the same given all the new improvements (including better materials).

Fun fact the new magic keyboard for iPad Pro with glass trackpad and aluminium palm rest costs same as the magic keyboard for iPad air ?? which lacks all the premium finishes and has a standard trackpad .. so I wonder why the same price?? This is so bad

I don't know if I would say that it is "so bad". In fact, it's pretty nice that Apple didn't raise its price.

Confused.

Go down at the bottom and you can find:
Magic Keyboard is sold separately. Compatible with iPad Air (M2), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th generation), and iPad Air (4th and 5th generation).

So is this the truth or just a copy page mistake? Can the new keyboard compatible with older iPad Pro?
I’m still waiting for someone to test. I know in Costco they have the M4 iPad Pro on display connected to the 2022 Magic Keyboard. Charging even works on it.

You’re sure it’s the M4 iPad Pro and not the 13” iPad Air? I’ve seen several people try it and it doesn’t work because the magnets don’t align, so it doesn’t “stick” to the keyboard properly. And then you have the extra space for a larger iPad that the thinner iPad doesn’t take up, which means it could bend more readily.

It doesn’t work as multiple reviews and posts, including my own experience as noted months ago, indicated. I only wish it had as it would have saved me money, but I have to say the new one is much nicer.
