Just got a phone call then and accepted the offer. They have a very strict NDA which so far we haven’t signed and haven’t disclosed anything about how the process worked so far. So all good

It is pretty worrying, too bad if we were out or something. You'll probably get it on Tuesday, Monday being pub holiday. They're cutting it close though.
We don’t have a public holiday here on Monday so hopefully it turns up then. I’m hardly ever home but someone might be. Yep certainly cutting it close

We have fixed wireless NBN and apparently that’s a no go. All I read was NBN was ok.
Wow damn, after all that and it was for nothing........ Such a shame. Sorry to hear.
Two months of waiting and now I have no job to make it worse. Oh well not much can be done I guess.

Heads up to anyone applying for this role. Make sure everything is 100% correct. Ask as many questions as possible. Especially when it comes to the internet connection.
I just went through over 2 months of interviews background checks and waiting. Got the offer, signed the contracts and had a start day of yesterday.
They had issues with getting my equipment to me. In the process I got to learn about internet connections and nbn isn’t always right.
I lost the job on the spot the day before starting. I have no job to go back to and am feeling pretty low.
They are a huge company and losing one person doesn’t make them blink or feel sorry for you. HR are great but don’t expect a sorry lol!

I am so sorry to hear your story! What do you mean about 'internet connections and nbn isn’t always right'? Cannot you fix it?
I applied AHA job and got through all interviews and background checking then nothing.. I thought I did well in both interviews. It all happened in May. I also use NBN which i thought is the best for this type of work. Do not give up, try again.
We have fixed wireless nbn, that’s not approved by Apple yet. Unfortunately it can’t be fixed due to where we live. I had the contracts etc all signed and was ready to go.
Wow! I also use NBN and hope it wont be the problem. Is NBN or is the company you use they do not approve? Cannot believe this can be a problem for your future!
So long as your nbn is fixed line node to house or curb to house you will be fine. If your nbn consists of a dish on your roof you won’t be fine.
Yep it was a shock for me that’s for sure. I turned down two other jobs to keep this one. My town is only 5000 people so clearly now I’m wishing I took one of the other jobs.
Thanks for the info. It is very sad to hear your story. I am sure other doors will open soon. You got a few offers means you are capable... You should call the companies which offered job and explain your situation. If they have not made the decision or they have other vacancies, they'd consider. In the end of day, they need ppl just like you need a job. Good luck !
