I know I cant wait till a week to open the box and if we have to prove that the box wasnt opened prior to training my excuse will be I was just checking to make sure it wasnt a bomb or contraband because I am paranoid like that lol..

I will have my ipad... my previous work at home job I kept the ipad next to me.. I found the tv hard to focus on when it was too busy.. but my trusty ole Ipad never lead me astray

4 weeks of training 1 week on the job training taking calls not literally off.. but I think we will be off for XMAS because we are technically still in training until the 29th.

I'm going to have the iMac and my pcs 2 27" monitors with me.
Anyone else being told a start date of January 28th? I began my process back in October and had my second interview last Friday. I received the email to schedule 3rd interview and took care of that (December 4th is what my option was). They have told me my start date is January 28th assuming I pass the final interview.
Is there a chance that start date gets moved back? I have ten years of tech/customer support experience for companies such as ASUS, Geek Squad and Support.com and my empathy is off the charts. I always handle the difficult customers because I have an uncanny ability to talk them off the ledge in a positive manner. Im not worried about the 3rd interview at all because I feel comfortable that I meet all the requirements both technically and in regards to empathy. That said the job market in my area is terrible and I have taken a manual labor job with Amazon making less than 50% of my former wage. I absolutely hate this job and would love to get away from it before January 28th!

Our dates are near the same but I honestly can't remember exactly WHEN in January they stated would be my start. If it's the 28th .... oi!
I was also told the 1/28 class, if I pass all the steps. I've only had the 1st interview, 2nd is set for 12/6.
I asked my first interviewer specifically about what group and he told me it's part time and CPU. I told him that was cool with me.
From what I've seen here, start dates have been extended, but I don't recall any being changed to closer start dates.
Maybe someone else knows more.
So i Just spoke to my TM and she said the reason they dont want us to open the box is because they want us to get paid for setting up the equipment and thats the big reason why and also if I really want to buy a chair because of black friday sale that I should make sure that it is an ergonomic chair with adjustable height and arm or no arms(It CANT have a fixed arm) and will be working through the holidays they are trying to see if we can get a day off and she wouldnt tell me whats in the gift box lol

I asked about the desk and told me that one of my teammates asked about the chair ^
TM is looking right now to send us an email with more info so we can take advantage of black friday Citychick -> Overstock had some good deals but it is over now so Im waiting for the weekend.
