Hi everyone! I'm new here and have been reading along for the last few weeks.
I submitted my app 1-12, received my questionaire on 1-23, received my first call on 1-26 and had a facetime interview on 2-5. I think I did okay on the technical questions, thanks to those of you who posted info here. I am dying to hear back...am checking my email constantly.

I am starting to get a bad feeling since I have not received an email about the background check.

:(

Did the recruiter from your FT interview on 2/5 give you a time frame in which you'd hear something? Fingers and toes crossed that you'll hear something soon.

Quick question (well two)
1- my hire right status says Completed (took 4 days), how long does it usually take to get the offer call after completion?
2- does hire right usually let you know when they are done?

I asked what the next step would be and she said I should hear something in 3-5 days. I haven't gotten a rejection email so I guess that's good. I'm trying to stay positive but have seen so many say they got the background check the next day.

Finally the questionnaire/call

Its been almost 3 weeks and I finally got the call + questionnaire for separate ID's.

So I got a call asking me if I am interested + short interview for the Apple ID A, then a questionnaire for my second ID B.

I have been creating multiple IDs to increase my chance and I got mail for my ID A and a call for my ID B from the same recruiter... since I've already answered the call, should I not reply to the email...? or if I do, will that increase my chance..?

i would only proceed with 1 as they ask if you have ever applied or interviewed with apple in the past.

Congratz BTW hope all pans out for you!!!

Nvm. Got my offer call same day as HR completion. See ya in the March 18 class!

Congrats!!!

Looking through this forum i didnt see a posting about the desk requirements. I saw the chair info but nothing on a desk.

anyone that is working already care to shed light on this for me? I would like to set up my office sooner then later.

Also what phone do they send us? make and model if possible?

Still waiting for my BGC and my 3rd interview was last Wednesday. I remain hopeful and so should you :)

By the way, I thought I would mention they raised my salary 3 times during the interview process.

Initially in my 1st interview they told
Me the position was for X amount, then 2nd interview it was $.50 more, then my final salary (offer call) was $.25 more. Not sure why they do that but I'm not complaining!

Anyone had this happen?

For me they said it starts at I think $14.50, but I don't think anyone is really on that end of the payscale. I think most people are making about $2 more.

Well the people I know anyway, myself included are certainly not on that lower number that they quoted. It seemed like they wanted to make it an extra surprise lol:)

I've heard that a lot on this thread. The interviewers quote one number and then the offer call gives a higher number :D

Definitely not everybody by all means. It probably also has something to do with where you live/cost of living.

In what state do forum posters live? I'm in Ohio.

I'm in Florida and I was quoted the lower number and my offer was the same, waiting on the offer email and hope for a surprise but that lower number is great for down here but IO recently relocated from nyc where i am use to a little higher :D

I never said everybody, I just said a lot. I honestly think it depends on experience and how you do in your interviews, that's why it's not offered until after all that, but we may never know.

IMHO folks on either coast with a lot of experience will probably be paid more. Cost of living.

I still haven't gotten a questionnaire yet :(

On another note, for those of you that work as an AHA, did Apple give you a free iMac?
