That's great. Sounds a lot like my 3 rd interview. I was told I would hear back from 1 day to 1 week. I'm still waiting for a background check email. I haven't heard from them since last Wednesday! Please let me know when you get your email! And wonder why they pushed you to 4/22? They still told me 4/15. As long as I'm in. Still thinking it could go either way!

Yeah, hopefully we will hear something back before too long. Time will tell. :) We got the interviews done at least! Now to wait and check email and wait. :p Glad we got these out of the way, though! It's progress. :)

I've been viewing this thread for a while now and figured I'd add my experience. I applied for the Student AHA position.

2/11 applied through Apple website
2/13 received an email to schedule interview
2/19 received the "official application
2/21 had FaceTime interview which lasted about 45 minutes
2/25 received bgc email; submitted same day
2/28 bgc completed

My interview was similar to those that have posted here with a lot of situational questions and I thought I'd add one question that I didn't see that might throw some people off: What is bluetooth?

At the end of my FaceTime interview I was pretty much told that I was hired and that I would be contacted by staffing in 5-10 days. And that I would be sent an email with info regarding a virtual information session. I haven't heard from staffing (just the bgc) or received any info regarding the session...should I be concerned? Is it just a waiting game now?

Im a little confused, it seems that you skipped all the steps that pretty much everyone else had to go through. I was similar as far as I applied and quickly got a response, but it was an email with 12 questions, then phone interview who set me up to my first FaceTime interview which led to my 3rd and final Facetime Interview. I had that last Monday and got the BGC email the next day. Im slated for the 4/15 class, BGC came back and it's completed, just waiting for that email or offer call. You seem to of skipped 2 interviews? Did you do one with a team leader? It is just a waiting game. Gotta be patient. From what i've heard if you have completed a BGC and you have no problems then your golden so simmer and just try to relax until it the good news comes in.

It seems that student applicants go thru a different application process than non students

This is correct. One interview for me, via Skype, and that was it. I got the HireRight email a couple of days later. It was completed on the 22nd, so now the waiting game continues. There was at least one other student, in addition to hejo and myself, who went through the same streamlined process and posted here recently.

I also went through the exact same process

About 3 weeks for me. They do them in batches so it all depends on how soon the next batch of offers is.

And it seems the batch occurs around 1 month before the start date. But I guess it really depends on each person...

it was a week for me

I can concur that it was roughly 1 week after the BGC for me as well when I received the offer call.

And another week after that to receive an email to schedule a paperwork session.

Again, this was for the student AHA position

Getting Stared Email/myPage

Hey everybody. I'm counting down the days until 3/18 when I officially start with Apple as an AHA. I'm excited, yet nervous. Congrats to those of you who have received offers...and for those of you still waiting, be patient!

Early this morning (about 3:30am CST) I received a "Getting Started" email that kinda congratulated me on "making the cut" and provided me with a username (non Apple ID) and password to access a special "myPage" with specific info about my first day and a little bit more info on the company.

You must set your own password, but despite several tries kept getting a "cannot verify this link" error. I emailed the appropriate people and am awaiting a response.

For those of you who have been this far, what's this "special" website all about? Any "insider" info?

Interesting I have yet to receive that email I'm in the same class. But my paper work went back last week so it may be a bit yet. You may want to contact your recruiter in regard to the broken link.:):apple:

Ugh! Still no BGC email. Tomorrow will be one week since my 3rd interview. Is this normal to wait this long for that email? Maybe I'm out??

I am currently thinking about applying to this job and I was wondering if the landline phone is absolutely required or is it possible to get around that???

no way possible has to be ether traditional analog or cable phone. The land line is how you would receive your calls. You do get a 50 subsidy to help offset the cost.

I got my BGC 2 days after my 3rd Facetime Interview. It seems to be right around a week after most people get it. Don't stress, just keep your fingers crossed. Good luck.

Glad to see some other information on that. I knew the 24 hours I was quoted would be far too quick most likely. It didn't coincide with everything else I had read up to that point. Patience is definitely a virtue in this process. :)

...and KEEP checking your Junk Mail folder (or start if you aren't already).
Remember that these Team and Hiring Managers are just people, too, so your interview people could just be taking longer than others. Or they have a different interview/follow-up schedule.
