umm southwest is a passenger plane, they dont ship packages.

That's not fully correct. They do have "cargo" services, which are used when their passenger flights have space to carry it. Whether or not the iPhone is on said flight, that I cannot say. But to say they don't ship packages is not 100% correct.

Finally got my departure scan. 4:11pm. Guessing mine is on flight UPS2900 into LAX instead of Ontario. We scheduled to leave at 4:11, ended up leaving at 4:26. Either way my phone is finally on it's way to SoCal!

(if you need wifi for the restore.)

Do I have WiFi? This is Texas, not back woods Louisiana! ( I can say that as a purple and gold Louisiana boy!)
My current backup is on my Mac at work and will restore from there to keep all my sensitive data transferred.

UPS always shows up at 8PM or 9 PM for deliveries at our home..so going to pick it up.

For those that are requesting a pick up from UPS CC. How long does it take for UPS to update? Showing you will be able to pick up. I saw earlier threads saying that they may have you scheduled for pick up at a later date then Friday. I usually get delivery to home but tomorrow i will be off work early.

No surprise, no lines as of 12:47pm Pacific....

In my case, Greater LA area, it was causing about 1 to 2 hr later delivery than usual. That's why I switched to UPS CC delivery.

That is what I thought I remembered. Either way, I moved from a small town where it made no difference, to a giant city where I know there will be high demand.

Looks like I’m camping out at the front door all day either way.
