Ok, so I just spoke to a supervisor at UPS international and they said they have a massive amount of Apple packages on hold cause the planes can only have so many of the batteries on them. Too many new phones. lol

She said the live page she was looking at shows it should resume movement soon and will be here by the 29th/30th not the 1st as the site says cause it hasn’t updated yet. It’s much slower then the live page they see.

IDK could be a lot of bull or could be the truth.

Well, mine is now awaiting clearing agency review and my UPS delivery date has been updated to: not available at this time.

Does anyone have a "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." on their UPS tracking page?

My boyfriend's iPhone X was scheduled for delivery this Wednesday, but then all of a sudden the delivery status changed over the weekend on 11/24 saying it was in ZhengZhou.

Anyone have any ideas?

Alternately, that period where you turn in your old iphone before getting your new iphone...

Like everyone else, got my shipping notification overnight, and had a delivery date of December 1st according to UPS. Now, it's stuck in ZhenZhou awaiting clearance and shows 'Information Unavailable' for delivery. Not unexpected, just hoping it makes it through quickly and isn't stuck for days.

Also notified by Apple that my trade-in kit is on the way and will be here soon, and needs to have my old phone sent back by the 15th. I need my phone for work, so I need to have the new one working before I can send it back. Fingers crossed that the new one is here in plenty of time for that to happen.

Ordered mine on Friday, today it changed to preparing to ship. Anyone have an idea on length of time it takes to go from preparing to ship -> shipped?

I am hoping to have my unit before December 22nd.

I ordered mine October 31st and just now it seems to be coming towards the US

That worries me because I want to use my phone for a trip I am taking, which is ironically TO China. So my phone will be making that track twice in it's first 30 days of life.

Apple gave me an estimated delivery of Dec 11th - Dec 18th. If it ships in the next day or two I will feel pretty comfortable, but if it doesn't ship until late next week then I will worry. Guess only time will tell.

Edit: I am a little confused to Apple's use of their status.

  • Order received, okay makes sense there could be a connection issue with your website.
  • Order In Progress, based on the details it looks like this is where they "tag" a phone for you. This process should be automatic and only take a couple minutes max...
  • Preparing to ship, so printing out the shipping label and charging the credit card? Okay that too should be automated what is this another 2 minutes?
  • Shipped, I guess this is where the truck picks it up. I assume many trucks visit the plant daily so this portion should take all of a couple hours.

I don't see why the above 4 things cannot all happen in 1-2 business days. I get the actual shipping itself may take 7-14 days. But the rest should be quick.

Can't speak for everyone, but mine went from Preparing to Ship to Shipped in less than 1 day. Hit preparing status yesterday afternoon, and went to shipped overnight. That part should be fast.

Now it's just waiting for it to get out of China, which seems like it can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks.

Same here, patiently waiting. I tried to just keep my 7 and not get the X, so I did not pre-order, but I should have known better and finally broke down and ordered on 31st! A 64GB Silver for AT&T, through IUP.

The closest Apple store to me is 2 hours away and it never had stock until the day mine shipped and I could no longer cancel! It’s all good. Hopefully it will come by Friday, 12/1.

This makes me happy to hear. I know it's purely crazy talk but I will feel more comfortable knowing it's at the "shipped" status!!

You ordered yours on October 31st through Apple Iup too? My first est arrival date was bumped up to December 1st. I saw no actual movement till November 21st. It arrived at Incheon then departed fairly quickly. Now I do not know which way it is going. I have no idea how to check. So many are so much smarter about things like that than me. I am with verizon though

Yep, ordered on 31st. I did not get tracking info until 11/23 and it did not update again until today. It had an initial scheduled delivery date for 11/29, then changed to 12/1, now it currently shows no delivery information available at this time and no date.

Oh nice, thanks. Apple is showing 11/30.
VZW IUP 256 silver ordered on 10/31. Currently in Louisville with Est. delivery of 11/28 (tomorrow). It spent 4 days in Zhengzhou, less than an hour in Anchorage and ended up in Louisville where it's currently sitting.

My 256 silver was ordered on 11/17.

Today it has SHIPPED and credit card has been charged, with Apple saying delivery by 12/5 but UPS saying delivery by 12/1.

I'm guessing it will arrive 12/5.

Just checked my tracking and to my SHOCK!!
Incheon, Korea, Republic of 11/28/2017 12:50 A.M. Departure Scan

Now to keep checking to see where it goes from there.
Your phone should be going to Anchorage, Alaska from Incheon. You can check flights from this website: http://flightaware.com/live/findflight?origin=RKSI&destination=PANC#

This right here shows you flights from Incheon to Anchorage. You change the destinations to where your phone is going.

Most phones, if not all, will go from Zhengzhou, China to Incheon, South Korea to Anchorage, AK to Louisville, KY. Then from there, they will make their way to local ups hubs and then to your front door.

Anchorage!! I almost can’t believe it, what an ordeal...

You are correct. It is already in Anchorage, Alaska. Finally in the USA. I guess it will now go to Louisville, KY since we live in Ohio. How long does it take now, does anyone know? After a month of checking more than once a day this almost seems to good to be true.

Mine was in Alaska for about 33 hours then went to Louisville, which arrived in the morning and left in the evening the same day. So it could be a few hours to a day. Now that it’s in the US, it seems to go faster!

Here is what my tracking information looks like up until now.
