I used Apple Pay to check out, then I realized the shipping address was still my old home address. I went apple.com and I couldn't cancel my order. Anyone has experience in canceling the order?

If your shipping date has move forward and you need it on sept 22 select store pickup. You will get it on launch day.

Likely a combination of some people waiting on the X and a healthy supply of those phone configs.

Hi everyone! Got my 8+gold256 at 12:02 with launch day delivery. Laying here now wondering if I'm just dumb for upgrading my perfectly fine 7plus haha. I'm such a sucker for new phones! I'm on IUP at 12months so I just said what the heck. Ya I could have held on to my 7plus and sold it next year, although I'm thinking the depreciation will be higher with the new models being in higher demand. Anywho, my plan is to (maybe) upgrade to the X next year once the bugs are fixed and I've had enough time to say goodbye to Touch ID. Now...to shut my brain off so I can sleep! Ugh

No actually the system is used for fast ordering but this year its so slow their system hung up. Don't worry you will get your order soon.

Exactly my situation. Ordered my gold 8+ 256 from the app at about 12:02 from my perfectly good 7+ and was wondering if I was insane. I'm on IUP as well so I kinda figure what the heck?!? I usually like the newest and best, but I'm gonna have to get to know the X a little better before I jump on that bandwagon. I love my 7+ and the 8+ will be just like it, only a little better. ;-p

Finally upgraded from 6+ to 8+. Ordered though the Apple Store App, it seemed to open around 3:03, Super fast pre-order, I never had that before lol. AND 9/22 delivery date...first time I'll get an iPhone on launch day since the June 2007 original iPhone

I plan on getting the 8, but I believe preordering this phone is kind of pointless - stores will have ample supply on launch weekend. I am trading in a 6S, which should get me about $250 off.

I have the exact opposite. It's been nearly 3 hours with no confirmation email, but my order appears in the "Order In Progress" stage. Weird..

Pre-ordering sometimes a euphoric feeling to have your preorder in, because we don't know the ultimate demand. But I agree, I think there will be plenty of stock in stores available over launch weekend. Time will tell.
