Going to test the charging with my 18w bricks before I spend money on the 20w. I don't really care about fast charging I really only plug my phone in at night so if it takes an hour or 8 it doesn't really bother me.
Same here. I get a little bummed when everyone bails after getting their device. I guess they all head to the “yellow screen” thread. ?
Always a few people that have to leave and get the "there's a tiny spec of dust on my screen" or 'there's a microscopic scratch on the side" threads going. Or the few scammers with the "my UPS box was empty but I signed for it anyway"
Hopefully with all this "preparing to ship" time my iPhone is really getting the full treatment in the first class lounge before it's long flight.
The last couple of years my new phone has always been delivered UPS. Just checked my fedex app and had a surprise that the tracking was listed on there for my iPhone 12 Pro.
Got Pacific blue 128 gigs iPhone pro within 3 minutes of preorder start time. Went to PfS late last night pacific time but nothing in UPS my choice yet .
Do you have a trade in? Trade in boxes are usually fedex and geodis.

Yup. I have had boxes from Geodis for trade in's or devices going for repair and they show 1-4 pounds.
For everyone worried about not being able to track their order using their order number/cell phone number, don't worry!
I just got an email that my silicone case has shipped for delivery early next week (I can see the tracking number), but if I try to track using the order number/phone number, UPS still can't find it.
So relax, it's on the way even if you can't see it in UPS' system.

Yeah I think it’s a replacement box as Apple prepares the weighting beforehand.
Also, the date shows September month.
Also, its being overnight via FEDEX!
I've only seen Geodis on trade in or repair shipments. Mostly for the return boxes. Overnight looks like it was probably for a repair request they don't overnight trade ins.

If your iPhone is shipping from china like most if not all are it will be UPS Apple doesn't use FedEx at all for international shipments.

Yeah definitely going to be UPS as usual... weird that tracking is in my list of packages and also didn’t notice that sept ship date.
Going back to the early deliveries.
Think about how much it would suck for UPS to have to hold all these phones until Friday. Think about all thats being ordered online right now and how many orders drivers have to deliver in a day. How much it would suck for a UPS hub and driver to have to take on all this additional volume in 1 day. Apple has their strict ways but Apple has been very good recognizing the current situation as well. I don't think it would be unreasonable that they say just deliver them by Friday and let the ones that are here get delivered. I think with the current situation it would be reasonable to believe they would be ok with people getting a phone a day or 2 early.
Even last year people where sitting in china and UPS said it was because they could only introduce a set number of shipments into the system in a day and that limit had been reached.

Hoping that’s the case and that’s true! Because my Apple Watch was delivered a day early as promised by Apple. It was on a roll.
