Hopefully they wont shutdown Anchorage Airport ( ANC ) , if they shutdown due to damage or something happen later , pretty sure most of our order will get a delay ...

Several people have wondered about the IUP payment on their current iPhone. I got an email from Citizens One this morning about my recurring monthly payment which is due on 10/21...$0.00. So they know that you have taken out the new loan and are not going to charge you for your current phone. I don't know how close it has to be to the delivery of your new phone.

Anchorage is still taking arrivals, so it doesn't appear the earthquake had/will have any impact there. I'm sure we'll start seeing some tracking updates in the next few hours as shipments are flown to either Icheon airport in Seoul, or maybe direct to Anchorage. Who knows?

I think this might be new, but not positive. My iPhone 12 Pro showed a delivery date of Wednesday the 21st last night. Today when I woke up, the 21st was gone and it simply said:

Scheduled Delivery

Please check back later for scheduled delivery.

Under delivery options I have the option to modify my delivery date or time. I cannot change my delivery date to anything earlier than the 26th, but when I follow the instructions to change my delivery time (note, time, not date), it still says:

Original Delivery Window

8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 10/21/2020

And I have the option to change the two hour window, for instance to 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM (as opposed to noon). This costs $8, so I'm not going to do it, but I wonder if doing it would increase my chances of receiving it on the 21st.

It doesnt. In years past, changing the 2 hour window has caused delays

That's great for you. I got an email for my 10/20 payment yesterday and it looks like I will still be charged. I actually just got off the phone with Citizens One and they said they can't waive the payment even though I'll be paying on Friday again for my new iPhone 12 Pro. ?

I’m on T-Mobile and ordered sim free as well. I know my old sim will still work. The R15 is the “new” sim but the old one will work just fine. More important is that they all have Qualcomm chipsets so MUCH better signal (less battery drain trying to hold signal) than the old Intel modems.

Yes! I’m more excited about the new Qualcomm modem than 5G to be honest. I had never experienced dropped calls with AT&T at home until I started using my XS Max.

Thankfully didnt get the silver especially after that photo. LOVE the sides but the pasty white is hideous. I dont use cases. Got graphite and will await the day we see a true black again like the 7. Lol

Do you have kids? I asked because you don't use cases, unfortunately they like to throw things.

Well, that stinks! Maybe once you make the first payment on your new phone, they will credit the current payment to your account. I have read earlier in this post that has happened to others in the past. Good luck!

Hmm, thanks for mentioning this. I’m not on a 5G plan just yet but I’m wondering if AT&T will make me switch SIMs if I do..

They won't make you (according to an AT&T rep I spoke to) but they encourage you to get new sims each time. I never have (well not since the early iphones). I have just swapped in the old SIM card. Now I use an e-sim.

Well my phone and iPad have been preparing for shipment but nothing on my choice

same here. It’s been preparing for shipment for three days now for me, so I believe it has already been shipped, but we see nothing until Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Just guessing. While others have shipments and UPS scan to track.

I just called Apple again and my specialist understood why it sucks. She said I can let the Apple Store person know when I return my iPhone 11 Pro that I got charged on 10/20 for my old phone, but again on 10/23 for this new iPhone 12 Pro. I hope you're right!

@heyyitssusan I spoke to AT&T last week and my support person said that 5G is controlled by what plan you have with AT&T. You should be able to use your old SIM card with your iPhone, but only have 4G/LTE service fine.
