I was recently at the Albuquerque Apple Store to exchange a braided solo loop!
I used to live in NM, the Clovis/Portales metroplex. not much to brag about. But surely some beautiful areas in the northern part. i got the iPhone 7 from the Apple store there when it first came out.

Are you 100% sure it’s not an accessories order? Just seems odd to have had it for today when all the phones at best were over the pacific lol.

Haha. Ya’ll are tracking flights. I love it.

mine is still in China. Given that I am close to the Alaskan node I’m not surprised mine hasn’t left yet.

I’ve gotten every flagship iPhone on launch day except the original and the XS. I don’t even know how many that is now.

I also stood in line for the launch of Mac OS Tiger 10.4. Maybe before many of you were born. 😂

Just waiting for Jet Black to come back.

I have a stupid question: I'm with Verizon and I'm assuming my new iPhone will come with a new SIM card? I bought outright from Apple and I'll be replacing my 11 Pro. Does anyone know if the SIM is automatically activated or will I have to activate it? I've always just pre-ordered from Verizon and when I got the phone, I just turned my old one off and turned the new one on to go through the activation steps.

Inventory to retailers and carriers ships before us. Since the carriers have to prep and ship them out to customers.

when I upgraded from my iPhone 7 Plus to my iPhone XR, to my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I just popped in my Sim card and it worked.

This is the tracking for a t-mobile preorder. For some reason they show up as being delivered on Monday but when you look at the tracking it hasn’t been picked up and is scheduled for Friday 10/23/2020.

You can switch over sim cards. It’s recommended you use a new one but they are still able to be swapped over.
Yeah, that was my main concern... the 5G.. I'll probably just use the new one - I don't mind manually setting it up; sometimes, it's more fun that way :)
