So the question is, are we the first flight out of China or are there earlier flights? How many phones, theoretically are on our flight?

That’s just a delayed on because of time difference. Those release ones are export customs in China. The import scan is the on into the US.

Last year our phones spend quite a bit of time in Korea before departing for Anchorage. It was infuriating. But only because we saw them sit there for literally days.

Nice. I'm yet to see any estimated delivery date. Mine has always said (and still currently says) this:

Scheduled Delivery

Please check back later for scheduled delivery.

I left for an hour and so much has happened! This happens every time.

Meanwhile I’m still showing 11:57PM in ZZ ?

Keep an eye on these two:

This is my September 2019 iPhone delivery:
Release from China on 9/16,
charter to HKG on 18th,
depart HKG on 18th,
arrive into ANC on 17th :)?:) remembering the International Date Line,
clear Customs at 7:30am on 9/18,
depart ANC at midnight on 9/18 (not sure if that's midnight to start the 18th, or to finish it),
import scan 9:18am in SDF on 19th,
arrive 8:09pm on 19th in Ohio,
deliver on next morning the 20th.

One thing I know about all these UPS scans and imports and departures is that they don't always mean what I think they mean. Wow! If that Customs clearing was in Louisville, it was approximately a day before it got its SDF import scan, which is totally possible if they just let the phones sit waiting for Thursday to split up the pallets for delivery across the country. I do recall that this phone did seem to sit in Louisville much longer than I wanted it to!

Almost all of them sit in SDF too long! Though one of my iPhones did fly over my house at 2am on the way to SDF from ANC due to storms across the midwest. This was on the day of delivery, 3am Friday morning flight into SDF for Friday launch day delivery.

Cool
Cool, thanks, a glossary for the UPS app! What a great idea.

I do see that SDF did only get an Import Scan, and no Arrival Scan. But the Import was approximately 24 hours after the noted Cleared Customs notation.
