I bet we tracked the wrong plane again and our ghost plane and pilot landed hours ago and we get updated all the way up to the departure scan from the hub, which at that point a Wednesday delivery could happen...maybe....but dont expect it....but also expect it....but dont really.

UPS is outside my apt with my case!! Navy Blue case for my graphite iPhone. What colors did you guys get?

I think the reason lots of folks (myself included) are getting 10/21 dates is because that's the standard travel time for this service assuming you're using the normal UPS network. Because this is a chartered flight that is operating outside of UPS's normal network operations, it's just doing its best to guess when it will arrive.

Apple is one of UPS's larger customers. If they want the packages held, they'll hold them.

Still sitting with that sweet sweet 10/21 date, though I think it will be updating to Friday shortly.

I am also part of the Alaska -> Louisville crew. I have two family members also on the same flight who both have "check back later" for their delivery day, I am the only one of the three who requested a hold at a CC, and the only one with a firm date showing which is quite interesting.

We might not get a Louisville arrival scan might just be straight to import scan that happens sometime.

None yet. I am thinking about which color would go best with the pacific blue. I think the Kumquat would look nice. But I also like the Plum with Pacific Blue.

Tentative is because it hasn’t cleared customs.

I honestly feel like the pacific blue camera won't look good on a lot of cases. But idk.

Yeah, it think the blue camera looks ok with the kumpuat or plum colors. but it all boils down to preference and personal taste in the end. I prefer color combinations with a stark contrast. I am not fond of a combination of e.g. two blue shades.

SZX (Shenzhen) is nowhere close to Zhengzhou; it's actually in southern China and closer to Hong Kong, whereas Zhengzhou is in Henan Province in northern China.

they use the same service every year... yet every year they initially give you a friday delivery date.. this year is different though and gives an early date

Try adding a 1 to the front of your phone number - that was how it was listed on my package.
Also, try dropping the last digit from the order number when you search.

I can understand that actually. Some people like flashy colors and some just like neutral. I dont think im the type to be in public with a bright color phone. Feel like im being watched, but I know im not? lol. If that makes sense

I got plum with Pacific blue. Color of case looks accurate compared to online pictures

UPS93 flight is not showing anywhere since about 3 hours ago....

Exactly. And just like fedex shows “future delivery requested“ ups is the same the system would know about a hold and wouldn’t show a scheduled date before it could actually be delivered.

There was one iPhone launch many years ago where a decent number of people got their online orders a day early and were bringing them in to our Apple store. It was funny because we weren't allowed to put ours out yet or even open the boxes, yet all these customers kept coming in with the new phone. We all wanted to play with them!

Most years, though, only a handful of people get early deliveries or UPS gets fined heavily.

I'd still bet on them being held and not arriving early, but as evidenced by the past, it CAN happen. It's just unusual.
