Something I find interesting is even though it isn't updating scans, the order progress arrow has continued to progress for me and seems extremely close to the end for something that will inevitably be pushed back three days.

The progress bar is based on the current Wednesday delivery date. It will reset when your date changes to Friday.

Just now received this email. Clicked it and it says Friday lol. Are monkeys pushing buttons right now? 🥴

Just changed for me too.

On the mobile app... notice how it changed from "In Transit" to "In Transit: On Time". The previous "In Transit" status had a "rescheduled" date of 10/21, but now has a "scheduled" date of 10/23. It was intended to be "on time" for 10/23 all along.

Verizon is good mostly. Husband’s phone is arriving 10/23 by 9pm
 
I feel sick all of a sudden. Even though UPS said earlier on the phone its for sure 8/23. The website inspired false hope.

What’s interesting too is the boxes for the trade ins haven’t shipped yet and they typically do ahead of launch. With my S6 I actually got the watch and the return box on the same day. Might of just been coincidence. Not sure.
 
Honestly the hold this year is pretty stupid. Because of the current health crisis we can't run to the apple store and camp out to buy. The reviewers already had their review embargo lifted, why not let them go to houses a bit early this year? Whats the artificial wait for?

I would feel more comfortable if mine at least was said to deliver Friday but was in the USA. Sitting in China makes me a little nervous still.

There are probably other contracts and a slew of product launch-related plans to execute that would be ruined or violated if they get out early.

Well I could image for UPS sure, but I mean Apple. Why is Apple slowing them down this year, when chances are we can't run in/line up to a retail store lmfao

I’ve never tried the “Confirmed 2-Hour Window” option with UPS. Has anyone had success with that on iPhone Launch Days?
