So, the topics of today have been everyone's location, UPS, shipping notifications, iPhones, alcohol and.... sweatpants?

Lets all be thankful these ship UPS, and not FedEx who throws all packages into a pile at the local facility then subcontrats uber drivers to grab a few of their choosing and deliver when they get a chance - adding 3-8 day to EVERY deliver.

Ive had better experience with FedEx over UPS... except when it comes to Apple products, weirdly enough.

1033 PDT - just got a UPS MyChoice e-mail officially changing my delivery date to 10/23. Already new it was a done deal, but maybe a sign their system is catching up. I am still waiting for an official change accepted to my hold at CC for pickup. I seemed to remember it will update once the request is processed.

This is why I ain't getting the max this year. The phone is too huge

I’m coming from the 11 Pro. I actually ordered the Max last year and exchanged it a week later so I am determined this year to keep it. Looks like the Max is about 1/2” inch taller but can’t really tell how much wider.

Same although for me it seems that is influenced by how early they deliver. Fed EX is in the morning for me where UPS is late afternoon evening. I don't remember tho the last iPhone FedEX delivered. The one I remember is when I got my iPhone a day early lol, iPhone 4?

Literally everyone in the whole world who ordered on Apple.com has "preparing to ship" as their status. It is a placeholder that will not change until less than 24 hours prior to delivery.

Oof, talk about a touch and go. I wonder if they just did a refuel or if they actually transferred to a different aircraft? As we saw in that video earlier it is possible to unload and transfer from one to another on the tarmac in 20 minutes, but man that’s still impressive.

Any movement on your phone? My fiancee's left Anchorage at 8:34pm on Monday as well and still has not arrived anywhere.

While I believe this to be the case as well. It's weird that there was no arrival scan. I don't think I've ever had a launch day product go 36+ hours without an arrival scan.

I’m not worried my UPS isn’t updating since Anchorage, I just want something new so I can keep up my hype
