That is my guess, they usually have a bunch prepositioned in the U.S. My wife's is not in UPS, still on schedule for Friday.
My case and charger came today with FedEx and they were just left by the garage, I was home the whole time. Got the Apple notifications saying they were delivered and “We hope you enjoy them.” Yeah right, not until I get the fecking PHONE in two days’ time. Until then they are useless.

eek... my charge is still pending!! couple days left for it to go through I suppose
I use my phone while watching TV at night in bed so I take that opportunity to enjoy it without the case. It is very satisfying and still allows me to not have to worry about it being caseless when I could drop it on hard surfaces and I do that quite a lot unfortunately.
You might be able to release it using UPS My Choice (free) but do this at your own risk and the driver still is not required to leave it if they do not feel it's safe.
Yeah I went to My Choice and it said "The package is not eligible for authorize shipment release."
UPS My Choice thinks I am getting my phone today, but if I actually look at the tracking, it still says Friday.

Apple never gives me a confirmation: UPS is the only entity that confirms it’s available at the CC. I haven’t made the request yet, but I will.
I am in Europe, I will get my soon after launch, but I am not sad because I will receive new iPad Air on Friday

Nah, I know the ladies. They’re very nice, and they know that I have a package before I get there. They get my packages as soon as I walk in the door if they’re not helping someone else. When I walked in today, she said “I knew I’d see ya today”. I didn’t mention it was an iphone, just that I had a package coming.
That would be nice! I wonder if they are waiting on more phones to ship together on the next flight.
iOS 14.2 has 8 new wallpapers and they are pretty nice!
