They still go to your home??? that's crazy. I've always had luck with the CC, the scary part is sometimes the date disappears about delivery till it gets scanned in.

Then I'm already on my way to CC when they open and I haven't received the confirmation that it's available yet.

I've been in a group that has to wait about 20 minutes for them to move them from the HUB to the CC building which is across the street. I have to tell you, the UPS people are always friendly and the fellow iPhoners are usually pleasant also, it's kind of funny seeing the same faces year after year.
Agreed on the UPS folks and fellow iPhoners, and I know the UPS Folks do their best...especially with the volume on these launch days. Couple of bad episodes over the last 7 years: One year I had to wait for the truck to be unloaded at the CC to get it - as since I had the hold, but it still went on the truck, the driver didn't attempt delivery at my door. Another year, all the iPhones were in a secure cage to which only one person had the key. They didn't tell anyone else that the phones were in there, and they were on break by the time they found said phones. There were a few of us at the CC waiting and commiserating as we're doing here.

Anyone else have Apple show delivery as 10/23 still, but also Preparing to Ship? Doesn't seem likely...
Yes, thousands of people, because it won't get updated to "Shipped" until it clears customs in Louisville. It is already on its way. If you had UPS My Choice you'd already be able to see it.

I’ve picked up the last 2 years without issue. My CC doesn’t open until 9:30 so truck is unloaded and it’s ready for pickup by the time it even opens.

Hello all! Long time reader of this forum, for many many years. First time poster, heck it’s the first time I’ve ever registered for an account lol. Scottsdale, AZ here. Avid Apple fan, especially iPhone - have had the 3G (I recall waiting in line at the Apple Store for 6 hours on release day), the 4, the 5, the 6 Plus, the X, and last Friday ordered a pacific blue 12 Pro. Like most of you yesterday my delivery date went from today to Friday. Obviously no surprise, as the only preordered iPhone I received a few days early was the 4. Love reading everyone’s anticipation and excitement during iPhone release time!

Anyone have any flight information for tomorrow Louisville to Las Vegas - 10/22/2020? Please.

You can see all the flights between these cities at this link: https://flightaware.com/live/findflight?origin=KSDF&destination=ZLV

Looks like UPS runs 2 flights a day -- one at 4pm and another at 4am. My guess is that most of our phones that are already sitting in Louisville will be on planes leaving Louisville tomorrow afternoon while there will be others whose phones arrive in Louisville late Thursday or early Friday that make it onto those early morning departures.

Nothing filed for tomorrow yet. I'll see if I can find anything else but it seems to run at 4pm and 4am KY time.

When I originally preordered 10 minutes after launch my delivery date was the 23rd, but it got pushed back to the 30th- the 2nd. What is the likelihood I will still get it on the 23rd?

same exact phones and experience here too (except getting graphite)!

I worked for Apple as a supervisor for many years. Starting with iPhone 7 (as I recall it), preorders would get to customer hands days before launch. This always shocked me because these customers would come strolling in with their new iPhone I had yet to see in person. Apple always did overnight launch parties in every store the evening before an iPhone’s release date to get the store ready with the new iPhones for display, accessories, etc. Meanwhile, the lines were getting longer and longer outside the stores to be the first to get one. So when customers would show up early looking to accessories their new iPhone, we’d have nothing available to sell them yet until that Friday. But every year, there were always a few strolling into various Los Angeles County stores.

This is also the first pandemic launch for a new iPhone. So it’s reasonable to believe Apple puts their usual pressure on their couriers for on-time deliveries. It’s also anticipated that UPS staffing might be impacted by COVID-19. So I can imagine that UPS is going to try and clear their loading docks as soon as they’re able, to not overwhelm their Friday deliveries. I believe some might get their iPhones today. Others tomorrow. The rest on Friday. It’s all up to UPS at this point.

I am seeing a bunch of UPS flights going to various airports from KY today, phones will travel today sit in our local distribution centers for a day then delver out on Friday.
