Hahah. 🙄 been in Miami since April and have used my A/C literally twice. Just a fan and balcony time. its only been oppressively hot (over 94ish w/ humidity) a few times.

My order status changed to shipped but there wasn't an email or a tracking number offered, so I had to contact Apple customer service. They got me the UPS tracking number, and my phone was last scanned in Louisville at 8:13. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow by 9 PM, no way to select a delivery window even if I wanted to pay for it. Normally UPS tends to show up by 3 PM to my house and I'm home all day so it should be fine, I just love the option to select a window and know when to expect it.

I know next week it will get quiet in here. It should pick back up the day before election and quite down on Election Day and then all hell will break lose leading up to the Pro Max/mini preorder day. I hope I receive a launch day device. Tomorrow I’m putting in a day of leave for Election Day, preorder day and delivery day. If I can’t pick a 2 hour window then I’m going to have it held at the hub and get there 30 minutes early to pick it up at 8am.

See you at the Pro Max preorder. I wonder if Election Day will be the day we can put our orders in on the Apple Store app to be ordered on the 6th?

So I know there were some who wondered how the next iPhone upgrade will work since these phones came out in October vs September. I just received an email from Apple saying that my next upgrade is 9/18/21 so looks like that answers the question! We will be able to upgrade next September (provided the phones are back to normal scheduling) without needing to worry about payment schedules conflicting.

Thanks for the replies. The CC opens at 2 and I cant make it by then. Leaving at 3 for a weekend trip. Ill get my phone Monday now. Thats a bummer (UPS delivers usually by 8:30 pm here)
