Hey guys, so I picked up my phone at CC at 8:30 am. Kinda difficult cause they said it was supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I was confused and they told me I put in a request at 6 am which I didn’t, tho the phone was in the building and the guy found it after 10 minutes, I got the 12 pro graphite , coming from a 11 pro max, and honestly I miss the bigger size and the battery drains fast with the 5g for sure. Started at 82 percent at 9 am then about 10:20 I was already at 68,so again missing the bigger battery. Tho the size is good and I am gonna exchange for 12 pro max for sure. Excited to hear about everyone else’s thoughts !

You cant judge battery life after just opening an iPhone. There are a million background processes eating up battery life upon first setup, especially if you did a restore from backup. Give it a few days.
 
I will be ordering the 12 Pro Max in a couple of weeks through Apple. I admit that I am not the most knowledgably in regard to the SIM cards. I am currently using an Xs Max through Verizon. Can anyone tell me if when I activate the 12 Pro Max if for any reason I will need to swap the SIM cards or should I be good to go without any changes?

Did you have a message saying something, Ready for pick up? Or you just went in?

I actually didn’t get a message. It was still on “Preparing for Delivery” when I decided to just go in 15 minutes after the Customer Center opened.
 
Has anyone who bought through Apple and on T-Mobile who did a trade in still not received any word on the $150 extra gift card?

Just confirming, if my XS is on 14.2 beta, I'll need to set up my 12 Pro as new, install the beta profile and update it to 14.2, then restore to my XS backup?

So I pre-ordered the 12 Pro on 10/16 when it said it was shipping 11/6 - 11/13. Then I decided I wanted a larger capacity so I cancelled that and ordered the 256GB version, and it says it's shipping 11/11 - 11/18.

Now my "local" Apple Store (45 minutes away) has that one in stock, available for pickup today. What to do, what to do...

Seems like an easy decision to me. I would have already ordered it for pickup in your situation lol.

Philly update again. Bad news - scheduled delivery date changed to Monday 10/26 - and the tracking says new import Scan in Louisville, KY 10/23/2020 10:56AM. How is that possible when it arrived in Philly yesterday???? I can't believe I won't be getting my phone today or this weekend :(

Maybe it's just a scanning error? Did it ever get a destination scan?

It could just be 14.1 but his 12 pro didn’t last that long either.
 
Can anyone confirm, with Covid19 and deliveries today, are Apple requesting a signature, or...?

Currently, UPS/FedEx have not rang my doorbell (Nest Hello), since April...!

Not on my town. Just left it at the front door. Didn’t even ring the bell.

One thing to try is call UPS and ask nicely if they can deliver it Saturday since Express and Next Day Air are guaranteed services.
