It's arrived! Very nice to hold and definitely faster than the XS Max it's replacing. I don't mind the smaller screen. It isn't noticeably smaller while using it but feels a lot better in the hand.

I have less than two more hours of work left (WFH) and a new iPhone sitting in the box staring at me. This is going to be a TOUGH two hours.

I’ve been off work for 2 hours and mine is still on the UPS truck.

But now I REALLY wanna see what the Pacific Blue looks like in person, I hope - in my eyes- it doesn't looks "plastic" - and then compare that with Graphite. Ah...stupid choices!

The PB doesn’t look plastic. It looks and feels very premium. The steel band does smudge up as soon as you touch it, but like my midnight green 11 pro Max, though, the light has to hit it right for the smudging to be objectionable to me. Now, the silver? I returned it for MG last year because the bright smudgy band was a mess in any light.

still stuck in laurel. From what i understand the truck got in late past whatever cutoff they have so a bunch of iPhones are just sitting in A semi in laurel for whenever they unload them.

Yes you can. If you haven't already I would have them send you the new R15 SIM it helps 5G speeds a bit in most cases.

Do you put the new SIM card in before you turn on the new phone & use a backup?

It was 08:30 to 12:30 in the morning and then changed to “end of day”. Been out delivering for 8 hours now. It’s past 5pm now yet I don’t even have the live map 😞

Yup the one for me last year was preorder ASAP and get launch day in store. Literally in the early morning of launch day they send a Delayed email that I see right when I wake up 😠 Nice of them to give me some notice. Got lucky and was able to get on in store on Sat. And the worst part is the email also lied about it being ready by the weekend. I don't think the original order was ready until Mon or Tue. Then every time I tried to cancel it online, it gave an error. Just let time run out, and it finally canceled.

Thanks, at least the local Apple store has them instock.

I"ll cancel the original order and tell Apple they lost the Apple Card sale, trade in, etc....

Next year, I'll sleep in thru the pre-order madness...

You don’t by chance have the silver 11Pro do you? I’m trying to get a sense if the 12Pro is more white or pearly like the 11Pro was. I’m hoping they’re moving more to white.

Sorry so late. It is a lighter silver then the 11 pro. So In the light it looks whiter. Hard to see the apple logo.
Should have used the back of the creamy white X. With the darker apple logo and the iPhone name on the back.
With those shinny flat sides! Like the iPhone 4. Would have been beautiful.

I'm just getting setup now.. Note to self pay attention.. I was trying unsuccessfully to copy over phone to phone...i finally remembered I'm on 14.2 beta.. Ughhh lol

Early impressions.. Coming from 11 PM to 12 P.. Feels way lighter.. Edges feel good in hand.. If ya going naked it will get fingerprint smudges on edges... Not a big deal...buttons are flush.. I'm not sure how I feel about that but with case all good...
