I picked mine up at the store last year. So much nicer than waiting on UPS... which I’m still stuck doing. I’m starting to get really anxious. Normally they deliver here around 2-3 and it’s after 5 now. It says it could be as late as 9, but I hate having to sit here an wait like this.

I think next time I’ll try for store pick up. My closest store is 2 hours away but I could have driven there and back by now. Instead I’m watching ups circle my house.

My beautiful new iPhone 12 Pro Gold is here, and the setup took like 30 minutes (had a bit of difficulty at first, had to restart and do a different setup). iCloud backup made everything transfer over, it's like magic, like I never bought a new phone. I feel like I'm holding the same phone I've always been using but in a different form factor. I'm waiting on my Caudabe clear case to arrive to show off the new phone, meanwhile I'm using elago's silicone case. Congratulations to everyone who got their phone today and hope no one has any issues with the phone!

Depending on battery life I might as well keep this phone for 2+ years and get off iUP program... I really just wanted the new design and I don't do anything on my phone that utilizes its monster power... I love this gold color, I can't get over it.

I love the Caudabe clear case, but be careful putting your phone it is. The gold coating on your phone is harder than the case material and it will scratch it. They will replace for free if it does and as long as you don’t keep changing your cases, you’ll probably be ok. I change my case about every day so it didn’t work for me. They replaced it a couple of times. It looks really nice though.

Phone had an issue in the setup and it wasn't able to activate the cellular. I reset it, started again, restored from a backup -- but still no cellular. Tried calling AT&T but they are unsurprisingly overloaded. Eventually pulled my old SIM and put it into the new phone -- voila it works. Is this something I need to deal with and get AT&T to update the SIM or can I just live life with the old one?

I'm just getting setup now.. Note to self pay attention.. I was trying unsuccessfully to copy over phone to phone...i finally remembered I'm on 14.2 beta.. Ughhh lol

Beta on the way then copy over...

Early impressions.. Coming from 11 PM to 12 P.. Feels way lighter.. Edges feel good in hand.. If ya going naked it will get fingerprint smudges on edges... Not a big deal...buttons are flush.. I'm not sure how I feel about that but with case all good...
We ready for the weekend...

See you know how to rock this! I need to learn to take naps.

I woke up at 3:30 a.m and was glued to this thread celebrating all you lucky folks getting your phones today. I’m cranky now because I’m sleepy and my phone is still “shipless”.

*curls up in the fetal position*
Haha I’m running on 4 hours of sleep today. I don’t usually plan my naps, I just lay down browsing this thread and next thing you know I’m out like a light

I got mine all set up and playing with it. 12 Pro in Pacific Green

This thing feels huge coming from a 2020 SE. I still love it. I just can't imagine how big the Pro Max is.

Haha it's funny how I feel this thing so small coming from 11 PM... You will get used to it quickly
