It’s finally here. Congratulations to all receiving their new iPhone. Hope to see you guys on iPhone 12 Pro Max Launch. 12 days to go! This madness will start all over again. 😊 This was just a beginning. Thank you Apple for releasing an iPhone even during this pandemic tough times.

I’ll miss my Mid-Night green pro max model too. That phone was a beast. But iPhone 12 is blazing fast.

I have been trying to get my photos to sync from the cloud all day. I have 14,000 photos. The ones on the phone are going up and I can see them on the other devices I have but no photos will appear on the iPhone 12. I tried signing out and in, rebooting, etc. At one point all the photos appeared and were downloading then instantly disappeared. Any ideas or other people having same issue?

Waited all day for my 12, sitting watching Follow My Delivery only to watch the truck drive back to the city and not even attempt to deliver it on Follow My Delivery. I am utterly livid at UPS.

You have to leave ur phone plugged in all night long and ur phone will sync it. It does take 2-3 days for it to be completed. So, leave ur phone charged plugged in all night.

How are some people not getting the Phone delivered via UPS! I thought they have to deliver it as promised? Am I wrong?

No, I just saw a lot of packages being put into the front of the truck. Looking at the dash. I could even hear stuff being thrown around in the truck but he never got out. Eventually just put his seatbelt back on and drove off. Hopefully he finds it at the end of the day and still decides to drop it off.

I know others are having issues. I got lucky. A UPS driver showed up around 6. I asked him what happened. Turns out my phone was loaded on the wrong truck. Thus the other driver couldn’t find it. This driver saw it at the end of the day and dropped it off.

12 Pro will be my main phone but after seeing pictures if I do end up with a second iPhone this year it will be a Blue 12 mini.

My wife is going for the mini for sure. She got the SE (2nd gen), but the battery life on that is terrible.

As soon as I inserted my SIM card from my 11 Pro Max on Verizon to my 12 Pro, I got a text message stating that I need a 5G SIM card for the full feature. UGH

really? Verizon here. I didn’t receive any messages at all.

I inserted my AT&T sim from my 11 pro Max, and 5G isn’t available in settings. I have an unlimited plan. Guess I need a new sim too.

Leave it plugged in overnight so it can be fully synched

My phone is working off the eSIM for ATT... and the 5G is incredible... almost 70mbps with only two bars!

It’s been real and fun. After everything happening with the pandemic and the issues in the US, this forum, the shared enthusiasm and a new bundle of joy was a more than welcome distraction (except for the tracking glitches-haha). Until the next upgrade, take care and I’ll keep lurking.

I’m sorry to hear some of you are having delivery issues. I live in an apartment complex and UPS hand delivered my phone to the leasing office instead of dumping it by the apartment buildings (since COVID happened, office stopped accepting packages and made all delivery deliver to the units)... got a call from them about a “very important package” that I must pick up before the office closure and they have to hold it for me. UPS delivered about 2 hours later than usual...

I didn’t see any other boxes by the office so I am the only person who got the new iPhone delivered on launch day, lol
