iPhone 12 Pro Max 256gb in Pacific Blue pre-ordered this morning! Can't wait! Really wanted to pick up in store, but New Jersey is under talks of another lock down and didn't want to risk my phone being stuck at the store and needing to cancel and order for delivery.

Yep! Redacted for obvious reasons, but just showed up in my UPS.

This year is different. A lot of UPS drivers are leaving packages with signature required. I had PC hardware with signature required left at my door with no signature last week. It could depend on driver. When in doubt, I leave a signed note taped to my door addressed to the UPS driver, and ask them to leave my package. It has always worked that way for me.

When my grandma got her 12 UPS wouldn’t leave it in door. I’ve left notes on my door for UPS but still don’t leave it. You must have some pretty lax drives in your area.

My Pro Max SIM Free 256GB Pacific Blue is preparing for shipping for launch day delivery. Surprised that the Pro Max Clear Case I ordered shipped already from Rialto, CA and coming tomorrow 11.7.20 via UPS.

As far as I aware, a signature is required for delivery, unless UPS or FedEx has changed policy.

UPS & FedEx have changed policies because of COVID. You don’t sign anymore they driver MAY verify name.

I generally have mine held at the UPS office and pick it up there. This way I don’t have to sit around all day waiting for delivery or take the chance of a porch pirate stealing it.

That's been my methodology for several years now. There's nothing like picking it up at my local UPS CC at 9 am and taking it home.
