Not for nothin' but I got the Kumquat silicone case for my phone today and really really like the color. It will pair well with the PB phone. So there's my vote for that. And the camera hole looks waaaaaaay more aggressive than it is in person. Seriously, it has a sort of deep well to it but doesn't protrude much at all from the case.

IIRC, that option doesn't usually show up until the package has progressed a certain amount in its travel.
 
Someone please humor me and remind how to find the info on UPS. I saw an awesome post earlier that had screenshots with instructions, but I can’t remember what post number it was, and this thread is 569 pages as I started writing this post. It’s probably 582 when I’m done. Please share the knowledge and fun. :)

I’m trying but I moved since last year and I’m having quite the fun trying to add and update my address. UPS’ website / app to update these doesn’t like to work consistently it seems.
 
Well isn’t this lovely.

UPS doesn’t just update the address. They send me an “activation code” via US mail 7-14 business days. Guess no China tracking for me this year.

can’t find the tracking for my pro mac yet, but for my pro it says “clearance in progress” how long does that usually take?
 
What a crock, we now have to pay $5.99 to pick up our phones directly from a UPS location. Aren’t we saving them work and fuel costs by picking them up ourselves?😡🤮👎

Usually 'Preparing to Ship' doesn't come until late Saturday/Early Sunday (along with charges to your credit card -- a good indication that something is about to happen). This year PTS triggered a bit early so we thought there would be more action.

Shanghai is a day ahead though and it's morning there now. We'll all start to get shipping notices or find them through UPS -- and mind you we'll see them long before Apple sends a notice with the tracking number -- and then there will be scans in and out of areas of Shanghai or thereabouts as the phones move towards Inchon where they will hang for a day or so in customs.

Again, this is all normal. We'll see the status "Exception" a lot while they are in customs but all is well. Then they will head over to Alaska and from there to the main UPS hub in Kentucky and usually from there to their destination. We love following that sort of 'tick-tock' of events because it's a nice way of passing the time here but we're not at all concerned. As long as your phone is in motion by Monday morning it will get there on Friday.

However at some point, I had an account with UPS that got messed up and whenever I login, it takes me to an error page.

TL;DR I thought there was a way you could just enter a possible delivery date, phone number, zip code, a few details. Without the My Choice account. Does anyone know of that?

...Pretty sure what’s below “TL;DR” is as long as what’s above. Definitely not using that term correctly. :)

If your phone has shipped, this will find your shipment. However finding shipments by this method limits information to the last four digits of the tracking # and the estimated delivery date.

I cant even find the option for an UPS CC. Shows the list of the other places I can pick up (UPS Stores, Walgreens, CVS, etc.), but the CC isn’t even listed. I’ll gladly pay the 5.99 if I can set it for pickup.
 
Apple support says they should be able to give me my tracking # “once the carrier continues with the shipment”.

I said “so once it scans again in China?” And they said yes.

Anyone ever use this method? I wanna be in on the fun :(

I didn’t see the option to pick it up from my local UPS hub either. Must be a covid thing. Not a chance I’m having it dropped off at some dump gas station for pickup...lol
