Just got up and saw the same (below) very strange as well looking at the flight of UPS 91 which came to Anchorage from IZUMISANO, JAPAN, and it got to Japan from Shanghai not Hong Kong I guess the scans are indeed missing some details, well what ever now some 3 hours out of Kentucky and the UPS hub.

I’m in Canada (I know, I should be on the Canadian forum) and haven’t been able to get any information using my order number, phone number etc. Preordered for the past several years and it has always worked. Not too concerned as I ordered just after 8am and have a Friday delivery.

Sorta a strange journey for the folks who left Hong Kong at 11:46 AM CST, and now left Anchorage at 12:24 AM because UPS 91 left Shanghai at 6 AM on 11/10 but our phones left ZhengZhou at 8:03 AM 11/10. Then scan at Hong Kong before appearing in Anchorage its a bit hard to figure the exact route but I guess some strange travel from Hong Kong to Shanghai???? Perhaps when the full scan populates in Kentucky will see more details its a bit of a mystery LOL

I was able to email UPS customer service with the tracking number and address of the CC and they said it would be held there for me.

The lady who emailed me back did say that I need to continue to track the package and the delivery address is still showing as my house, so we’ll see what happens.

For those still "stuck" in China, thousands of phones were shipped and there is still a possibility that they are on their way and wont get scanned individually until after they arrive in Kentucky and "catch up."

It happens when they are using a mass scan for skids of products. The skid is scanned, but the individual box info ins't carried through.

I think with the recent UPS update, it removed UPS CC. Only way to request UPS CC pick up is to call UPS (however some have lucked out some has not).

As for redirecting it to the UPS Store or any third party location, there is a chance that it can one additional business day. But for some they are still able to pick it up on the same day. Normally if I do a redirect to UPS Store, on the confirmation page it shows estimated delivery time Monday **/**/****. However when I do this for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, confirmation shows Estimated Delivery of Friday, 11/13/2020. In the past though, I never had issues with ups store pick up and never once delayed a business day for me.

Answers to a few things that have come up: Tracking typically says 'Exception' because phones needs to be broken down from the pallets and cleared import/export customs scans. Then it will no longer say Exception. This is normal.

For the phones not in movement and still in China, do not fret. The stateside ones are going to sit in Louisville untouched for at least a day or so with no further movement (expect a lot of complaining posts of WhAts GoInG oN?! WiLl iT MaKe iT?) whiles yours catch up. Happens. every. year. And no, the phones won't be coming early.

Yes, this has happened to me in the past. I always order two iPhones and several times one of them did not get scan updates until Kentucky, where it magically filled in the same log as the other one.

Yea it still will show as if it's delivering to your address. But once it reaches your destination facility and does the destination scan, then it will change to ready for pick up at UPS CC.
