The obsessing is the sweetest part of every iPhone launch!! I swear, after the first day or two of having the phone, everything else is anti-climactic.
For those that can’t see tracking despite having downloaded and logged in to the UPS My Choice App, make sure you have entered your phone number into your profile too.
My phone finally made it to Ank and left ANK sometime overnight. It still says PTS on Apple. I think it changes to shipped once it hits Worldport - finally some movement
My phone arrive in CN at 8 pm and I had no movement until overnight last night and now it's made it to Alaska and has departed. I'm assuming Worldport will be the next stop....
Make sure that the UPS CC is the one that would normally handle your iPhone. Otherwise, it will go from that one to the one you chose and incur delay.
This is my first time ordering at pro-order and getting an iPhone delivered on release day. Apple store is still showing my “Preparing to ship” with delivery date of Friday 11/13.
Now the odd part is I have basic UPS My Choice. Just went to check it and I see an delivery for this Friday 11/13 from AI coming from China origin scan on 11/8 and departed Anchorage, AK 11/10. Although it’s delivery date is “tentative” and status says “Exception”, when I go into that entry it has a status of “in transitn time”. I’m pretty sure that is my iPhone, but no idea why it’s still showing “preparing to ship” on apple still.

Yep...UPS flight 91...arrives in a few hours.

My 12 Max 512 in blue is still preparing to ship.... hopefully see some movement soon. Maybe it's in stockpile in the states already. Still says deliver by Friday.
I'm at the same status, but I think UPS holds devices for my part of the US until the wednesday, then they go directly ANC => SDF => CLT without being warehoused. It's been the same for AW6, iPhone 12, and now the iPhone 12 Max's

I am exactly where you are. No movement since 11/8. Not worried though. You pick up a day as it goes from China to Anchorage, and then it goes quick usually once it hits Anchorage.
