I always restore from the encrypted backup on my MBP. Syncs more info than iCloud. I know I should do a fresh install but I don’t have the patience.Embrace Restore from iCloud. It works wonderfully these days.
Uni and a bottle of Nigori.Lat time I had Thai food I didn’t know I had the flu. Haven’t been able to look at it since. I should give it another try. I’m craving tuna sashimi.
To those who have made accommodations to pick up at CC (either via email or calling), has your tracking reflected the changes?
What’s Amish time? J/k ?
You manually download every app and all settings? What is the reason for this?Yep, every year I always seem too get my phone on time. I’m on the west coast
Whats the difference between a regular iCloud and encrypted? What does that mean? Also I don’t have enough storage on my Mac so do u contain all that info on ur Mac?I always restore from the encrypted backup on my MBP. Syncs more info than iCloud. I always like to start with a clean slate. Also I have a lot of junk on my phone, it helps me prioritize what I want to download on my phone and what I want to keep offBut the bugs and glitches transfers over. It’s not a clean fresh. I prefer setting up as new and then turning on the iCloud.
Encrypted saves iCloud key chain information, passwords and health data etc.Whats the difference between a regular iCloud and encrypted? What does that mean? Also I don’t have enough storage on my Mac so do u contain all that info on ur Mac?
iCloud uploads are naturally encrypted, if I remember right. The old way of storing backups on Macs used to store the files unencrypted unless noted (plus what Apple_Robert said)Whats the difference between a regular iCloud and encrypted? What does that mean? Oh man! The worst!Oh man! I used to live in Santa Clara, near Santana Row. My iPhone delivery would come at 9 PM. Not ****ing joke! And I was only a few minutes away from Infinite Loop.
My OCD I guess, Yes I do.. every year its like my ritual. The wife thinks I’m crazy too but I only have like 30 apps total very minimalisticYou manually download every app and all settings? What is the reason for this?
Yes, this. The first couple of years of restoring from icloud backup were awful and painful, but these days there's really no better way to do it. It restores everything a physical iTunes encrypted backup does.iCloud uploads are naturally encrypted, if I remember right. Ahhh, ya that is close! To bad it’s with a crappy team and no one can go to a game!?Directly across the interstate from Mandalay Bay
I just got my Apple 20W charger... I ordered it yesterday from Amazon.
It looks like it's just within controlled airspace in the FAA B4UFLY app. So it would require an exception through LAANC. Also, I've heard before that Apple's security may try to detect Drones and track down the pilot. This article says they would call the police and attempt to get you ticketed. https://www.kqed.org/arts/13829679/apple-cracks-down-on-drones-filming-construction-of-apple-parkIf do you have time please share some pictures of the Apple Park. It would be amazing. Can you fly out drones there?
I have a lot of apps and organization. Is there any downside to restoring from iCloud? I want my new phone to function optimally but I also do not want to spend 3 days setting up my new phone. My OCD I guess, Yes I do.. every year its like my ritual. I work as a Quality Engineer in my role in mobile and have soooo much crap rolling into my device (Betas, uploads, downloads, deletes, you name it). It might be a placebo effect, but I always find fresh wipes and installs just squash a bunch of crap. Plus, many of us in the field tend to test on clean environments, so these apps are just designed to run better on clean slates. You manually download every app and all settings? Hey thanks, I couldn’t find the SN on the UPS site but I did get AppleCare and found it in my confirmation email. Yes, great info, love the chipmunk site! Mine too was produced sometime last week. Interestingly, it also says assembled in the USA. Not sure how that’s possible, assemble it in the USA and then send it to China? Clearly they’re not assembling it once it reaches the USA. Anyway, too much fun.A good number of pages ago, someone posted when their phone was produced using their serial number. I didn't pay for Apple Care, but I was able to find my iPhone 12 mini's serial number listed as one of the reference numbers used by UPS, starting with F4. Out of curiosity, I plugged it into chipmunk.nl's wonderful tool and found some really interesting information! It was probably produced roughly a week ago!
Not at all.. its just what I do.. you’ll be fine..I move icons around all time.. never happy with my set upI have a lot of apps and organization. Is there any downside to restoring from iCloud? I want my new phone to function optimally but I also do not want to spend 3 days setting up my new phone.
I really like the Poppy color.
