Just in time for my wife's birthday on 10/27, and also one for myself lol

Also just a note, last year my 11 Pro Max status said in China all the way until Thursday night, then Friday morning it changed to out for delivery. I'm sure some of us will experience this again. Do not freak out.

I called AT&T support and they told me to cancel my order with apple and place it with AT&T to get the $800 promo and that the trade in had to be selected at the same time of the order. This is in direct conflict to what I see on apple's site so I'm skeptical.

I spoke with a very helpful rep at AT&T earlier this week who told me that you didn't need to order from AT&T for this promo. You just need to trade the phone into AT&T within 30 days (not sure if it's within 30 days of ordering or activating the new phone...)

Question: What does everyone mean by AT&T "Corporate Store?" Just an AT&T owned store, as opposed to an authorized reseller?

I was told an easy way to identify which is corporate and which isn’t is the corporate stores have the AT&T logo in all CAPS and the resellers have it in lower-case.

I’m sure you can find out online too, but figured I’d pass the info along.

If I selected the wrong storage size, Would you guys keep it? Or try and get it swapped out? I was pushing close to 200+ Gb used on my 11 Pro Max, and thought I needed the 512Gb again. So I placed an order for an 512Gb Gold color, and come to find out, that some older movies/tv shows took up an whopping 50Gb. Now I'm assuming the 256Gb would've been fine for me. Should I even try to get this straighten out? I did the ACI plan.
 
Crazy the iPhone 12 is still available for launch day delivery. Either Apple had more of that in stock or the 12 pro is outselling it.
 
I ordered right at launch and got 10/30 delivery cause I forgot to click express or in-store pickup. If I called Apple, can they change that?
 
Ordered for instore pickup in Escondido, CA at 8:00AM on Friday.. The mall doesn't open till 10 or 11am, will I be able to pick it up at 8AM if the store is inside the mall and the mall opens up at 10 somehow? Curbside??
 
Apple charged my card about 15 minutes ago. My bank flagged it as unusual activity but it looks like it was still approved *fingers crossed* I just had to confirm that I recognized the charge.

Delivery date slipped fast... you likely ordered in the second wave. You typically don't need to do express shipping for launch day, your order just missed the first batch of stock. What time did you get your confirmation email and for which model/color?

Sounds like a lot of users don't know how to work a real camera then /S.

I'm comfortable with the 12 (non-pro) since the XR was released. If I need good quality pictures then my handy Sony A6600 comes into play for those types of media memories.

Showed up for me. My hot tip is don't keep spamming the Apple website. Use UPS MyChoice from here on out. Another tip is to download the Flightradar24 app to track your package in the air as it travels too. It's super over ridiculous mega obsessive to do, but it's fun!

Exactly, after 6+ and XS Max..the LOOONG endless 7 days. I'll start checking UPS MyChoice also. (My pre-order of XS Max was 3:04am ET, 9/14/18.

UPS started showing movement 5 days later - 9/19. And that was going by "reference number" - entering billing phone number. Even on a Wed. don't let panic kick in when you see it STILL in China (with delivery 2 days later) -UPS always - for me at least - delivered on time.

*My personal wait is a little painful..I'm going with Pro Max - that's another 3 week wait for pre-order.

The Verizon trade up looked somewhat promising...at first. It does appear I would have to ditch my current plan to the "Unlimited" plan. I simply do not need the far more expensive Unlimited.

Of course I also got a Verizon Visa card offer this morning "Perfect to use for your new iPhone...blah blah"
