So I missed the late action, but:

@StaceyMJ86 - I got in a 5K yesterday evening, but no badge showed up for me. I didn’t get the challenge at all.

@Renho - I’m from Chicago, IL, living in the suburbs currently.

@Bea220 - I knew I liked you! I have also skydived and have video of my jump! I did it on my birthday. I’m overdue for another! I’m way behind you with 9! 😳 You ROCK!

To add to the personal sharing - If anyone hasn’t guessed by now, I traveled a lot pre-COVID for both work and personally. Travel is a personal passion of mine. A lot of the US places mentioned, I’ve been to at some point or another (DC, Vegas, Seattle, San Diego, NYC, Dallas...). A number of international places as well and I have more planned, but COVID halted that... grrr, I got places to GO!

Anyway, this has been an awesome first Apple pre-order experience so far. It’s like 2014 all over again, but much less frenetic. Chill comraderie. Love it. We da best!
I went to sleep and there’s a lot to catch up on too (rookie mistake, SLEEP!)

oh lady we love traveling too! Had to cancel our road trip through Vegas, Zion, Arizona (Grand Canyon - I’ve never seen it in person) and Joshua Tree this year. Would have been my first time hiking in the beauty of Zion. Been to plenty of places all over the U.S. but I’ve only been to Chicago on layovers though (going to O’Hare twice doesn’t count)... I’ve been fortunate to visit Paris and Athens out of the country and can’t wait to see more when things are... not what they are now.

HECK YEAH on you running a 5k AND skydiving! 🙌🏻

I’ll catch up here soon but hopefully everyone is seeing fantastic progress/movements on their orders.

HAPPY ALMOST IPHONE MAX/MINI DAY!

EDIT: @naturalstar I forgot to mention that I did get to see Big Sur here in good ol' Cali for the first time in May this year... I hope one day you get to see it too. It's a special place. We just went to Lake Tahoe (stayed on the Nevada side) and it was PHENOMENAL. My iPhone made it just in time to take it on the trip with me. Are you having your iPhone delivered to your home or picking up at a local hub?

One last thing, I'm a huge fan of Alkaline Trio.. I would assume you have heard of them being from Chicago and all... ;)

That's the default time...it will come most likely whenever UPS normally delivers to your house. They come by mine twice a day and I just hope it is part of the earlier delivery and not the usual 5-6 pm.
Wonder how much their typical delivery time would change due to iphone launch day. Got my iphone case delivered yesterday at 2:30 PM.

Just saw that I received an import scan in Louisville.

Have the Pro Max ordered and was in AK flight left limbo status for the last few days. Just got a text from Apple that my order "had shipped" but no updates from UPS tracking. So, guess I'm good for tomorrow and I'll get UPS tracking updated soon.

BTW, neither Apple or UPS is handling this tracking well. Apple doesn't have the initial shipped notification from China and UPS provides a bunch of detail at the beginning and then leaves tracking updates alone after the AK flight takes off. They should probably just do an "in transit" if they're going to do only partial detailing. But that's just me.
