Yea doing it at the access point is a hit or miss tbh. But I had no issues in the past when I did the UPS Store access point pick up and never delayed on me. Ever. I was able to pick it up on the day of it was originally promised to deliver. It is a risk. But yes it's better to request a pick up at UPS CC.Yes! Do not hold it at Access Point! It will cause a delay and depending on the hours, will be waiting till Monday
We're not playing games with UPS like that come on now.
I also have an in-store pick up as well so even if mine got delayed, I'm not too worried and I'll still have the pro max to play with tomorrow.
We took off last night from China and I think you were already in Alaska at that time. By the time I made it to Alaska you already had gotten on board to KY. I'm just right behind ya.
It was a wishful thinking and I had wished to travel with you that but didn't happened (Remember got stuck in China)
Just left Louisville at 12:05 going to Indianapolis this time around so I guess we won’t get to hang out in Louisville. I’ll be here though til it arrives and gets unboxed tomorrow so no need to say our goodbyes yet. Hope you get your arrival and import scan before the first flight out! Safe travels!
11/10 12:42 departure from AK; Apple shipped email and text received with delivered tomorrow, but no import scan yet and still with an Exception. I’m wondering if it’s because I requested a pickup from my local hub? Or, my plane mysteriously disappeared and I will have to haunt my local Apple stores tomorrow for same day pickup.
Mine is on its way to my CC and I still have an exception. I didn’t make any changes or holds on mine. I wonder if it is just to alert UPS that this package MUST deliver on launch day, not before or after.
When you have in-store pickup, when does the order usually go from “processing” to “ready for pickup”?
I have in-store pickup scheduled for Saturday 8am-8:15am, and my 12 PM still shows as “processing” (I have been charged for it) while my case has been at “ready for pickup” for days.

UPDATE: I called into the International number and was able to make the change! Being held at CC, Picking up at 9AM tomorrow! 🥳
Wait you still can't pick up your case? What case did you order? I was able to pick mine up last Friday for the Baltic Blue Leather Case from Apple.
As for the status change, sometime today and overnight it should change.
Either way it's absurd that you can make that request, but you can't cancel or reverse it.
I'm being transferred to the international number after being on the phone for 90 minutes, this gives me hope lol
Got a departure scan of 12:05 and think I’m on a flight to Indy this year, which is about 70 miles from me. I think its because I arrived in Louisville earlier this year. Usually I’m on the last chance flight.
Mine just departed Louisville, KY (well actually 15 minutes ago). Mines on the truck. Next stop, Lafayette, IN.

Internal sources from CARGOLUX have spoken and confirmed - 100%. Late 9:00PM Crew that was on board last night. We are expected to land in KY 1600L AKA (04:00PM) Kentucky time. They are working very hard to get us to our destination. Believe that.

I’m so jealous!! Franklin park is only 10mins from me. I wish i could drive. No choice but to wait for my delivery. Hoping it will be delivered around 2-4pm to me
CC option is disabled by default for some locations. Ping them on Twitter DM or call them to make the change before the package leaves KY.
Mine showed up before the scan...not that I used it, but it was there yesterday.
Import scan at 10:30am Louisville, my watch didn’t leave Louisville to LA until 3am day of delivery and made it to delivery track after 6 hours. Though apple website still showing me shipment delayed in order page(app page is fine) and ups still have exception. I hope it’ll make it to me tmr ;_;
How do you know you’re on a flight to Indy? Do you have flight info also? I can’t find any flights going into Indy today.

Great info! So looks like us "Southwest" people (LV, LA, San Diego) won't be in until this evening in Ontario. At least we can chill and relax for now and hope we get a quick expedite after your plane arrives.

Good for you its about same to my house from Louisville and always truck, i was scanned 10 minutes before ya but no departure yet. Yeah most of the time my departures are late at night or very early in morning. Hoping to see it leave earlier this time although I know it will get there LOLOMG! Got a departure scan from Louisville! That’s the first time it’s happened before nighttime when it hops a truck for the 3 hours to my CC. Maybe it’s got a lot of stops to make along the way.
It didn't show up for me even after I was in KY, so I sent an email.
I was transferred to the international number and the guy on the phone said he can submit a case to cancel the ups access point request, and he sounded pretty confident it would be cancelled. Fingers crossed ?
