Another Phoenician! :) I'm at 59th Ave / 101-ish, in North Phoenix. In the past I've done pickup at Arrowhead Mall but eh... not wanting to stand in a pack this year. I'll wait. My FedEx driver is always after 5pm but usually our UPS guy is noon to 2pm, so not too bad.

Planning to distract myself on the PS4 tomorrow until I hear the Nest doorbell pick up some motion haha!
You live not far from my office (although I have been working from home since March)...the office is at 27th Ave and the 101, and I live in East Mesa near Hawes and Guadalupe. Yup, 52 miles each way back and forth to work for years until COVID hit and I started working from home full time.

Back when we were working in the office, we used to eat lunch at a bunch of places around 35th - 59th off the 101...Ray's pizza is a favorite, as is Chino Bandito, and PoPo's. :)

I believe I’ve got things straightened out with UPS My Choice. I reported earlier that I wanted pick up my phone at the local UPS Customer Center, but it wasn’t an option on the list of places to do this. Also the center no longer showed on the map of UPS sites around town. It was recommended on this forum that I call or email UPS to find out what to do.

I instead decided to take my dog for a walk in the park while think about my options, and while doing so realized that the Center was only 3 miles from the park. I decided it would be cool to drive there to see if it even still existed, and handle the problem f2f (face to face). Of course it does, and the representative at the counter was surprised that the center was not listed in the My Choice options. She took my tracking number, checked my ID and set it up so they will hold my phone until I pick it up tomorrow. I should have it by 8:30 AM tomorrow if the previous schedules holds true.
Mine is available at the CC 0930.... "You can pick up your package during the business hours Mon-Fri: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM please bring your government-issued photo id with matching name or address, please keep on track of your package, the request will show completed and ready for pick up."

Is this change, pick up at CC, reflected in your My Choice dashboard? I don't see it reflected in mine.

Mine will not leave Louisville until sometime tonight. It will leave on a truck that will make a stop in Indiana on its way to Illinois. It will get to Urbana, IL arriving sometime after 1:00AM and the phone will be scanned into the center. Then it will be scanned out of the center and go to Decatur, IL where it will be scanned into and out of that center, then return to Urbana, and scanned into there again. Then it will be held there and be waiting for me to pick up after 8:30AM.

It sounds crazy I know,
but it really is so,
I‘ve been to this rodeo before.

Oh my gosh we need to trade houses! I work in Tempe at offices not far from the airport, so I'm 30 miles each way -- but you've got a heckin' commute!

SO glad to be working from home since March... they're saying we won't be back to the offices until maybe February, and even then we might just do 2 days office, 3 days WFH 🤞

I still have my 8:42am import KY scan... waiting on that shipment to Ontario, CA!

Not originally, but it is now. It might take a while for it to get posted.

Ooh, I have been eyeballing that Otter Box case...how does it feel in relation to the Apple Silicone cases? Smooth and soft? Grippy?
TBH I didn’t pay much attention to the texture last night...was more focused on the size as I read some reviews that said it was bulky (yes, it’s slightly larger than Apple silicone but not enough to bother me). I’m at work now but will update when I get home as to how grippy it feels.

OMG, stop it! lol. I used to live in Phoenix during University of Phoenix's grand days! Just reading about Chino Bandito brings back memories. I know I have Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles here in LA, but that nostalgia of the first LoLos in South Scottsdale with the Kool-Aid is golden. And I'm a total sucker for Barros (I'd start barking out the breakfast places, but I heard The Good Egg and the likes are disappearing or already have).
