Did that cause you any problems for getting approved this year? Because that’s exactly what I want to do... except a week or two past the 14 days they expect it to be shipped in.
I have autopay set up using my Apple Card and made every payment. I've never actually returned an old phone when purchasing a new one, I've usually paid it off in full when I got the new one. Last year I just kept paying on the phone (which we gave to my son on our T-Mobile plan) until final payment last month, I think, and had no problems with this year's participation in iUP.

The great thing about iUP is that it is not through the cellular carrier. Citizens One doesn't care as long as you are paying for it, and you did sign a two year loan contract with them. This is unlike a carrier phone where they would care if you were not paying a monthly charge to use it on their network. At least that's how I understand the carrier's "loans", I've bought unlocked phones directly from Apple for a number of years now.

same. Spoke twice to UPS folks, they confirmed its good for pickup at UPS CC tomorrow. Exception shows in iOS app, but website is just fine.
If you do hold for pickup for ups cc, it will always show exception on the app until next day where it changes to “ customer request hold for pick up”

Isn’t UPS under strict order by Apple to not deliver the package until the 13th? Is that what this exception is referring to? Or is it s8mething else
Did you request hold for pickup at the ups cc?, if so it would always be that until the next next when you can pickup and it will change to “customer held for pickup”

So they didn’t “flag you” or anything and keep you from getting approved this year? I know they hard pull credit... once? but they don’t actively report to credit. I just need a way to float it for about 14 days past the initial 14 and I’ll pay precious 11max off in full. Maybe I’d just be safer > sorry calling Citizen One tomorrow.
I was not flagged, I kept paying as it was a 24 month loan that I was half way through. I was traveling a lot after getting my new phone and just kept paying on the old. As I recall they had already set up a new loan for the new phone and I started paying that as one would do.

I would suggest contacting them rather than winging it like I did. I do find the Citizens One web page maddeningly confusing and don't recall seeing a good contact method, although I would imagine there is one.

Well that makes sense to me. Just need like ~28 days from tomorrow to float it and I’ll pay 11 PM off in full then continue to carry 12 PM until it’s time for 13 or whatever. Next year will probably just straight trade in to upgrade and won’t keep the phone.

Have you tried calling Citizens to see what your options are? They were always helpful to me.

Yes going to just try calling tomorrow. Safe > sorry.
