Didn’t like the blue on blue. Can you put the case on and post a pic
Yeah, I actually don’t like it too but have to get the safest one since I’ll be out this weekend and wanted it protected. I really prefer clear case for this, but hate the magsafe at the back of the apple clearcase so just went with the silicon. Ordered a spigen crystal clear but will definitely try and see others once I get the chance to.

Anyway, here it is, the color really is so far from each other. :p

Naked or case? With Apple care I might go naked. Just sucks to spend that money and hide it with a case?

Chicago transplant living in Phoenix. ;) So yeah, it has a much longer way to travel. Not expecting it tomorrow at this point. Oh well. Should have done store pickup. ?‍♂️
Mine just landed in Phoenix at 5. But last year it was still in Kentucky when I went to bed and when I woke up at 5 it was in Phoenix and at my door at 8.

I don’t know. It can move pretty quickly once in the states. Lots of time still. Keep the faith... probably another late night run for Friday delivery!

The flat edge design. I loved the iphone 5
The iPhone 5 in Slate is for me the most beautiful phone they've ever made and probably the last one that Steve Jobs had a direct hand in (I'm sorta guessing because they are usually two years out on design. Right now the iPhone 13 is being finalized).

And now a warning... I've been seeing the joy expressed at the extended return window but if you upgraded through your carrier the return period might still be just 14 days. That was the policy last year when I worked at Apple. Double check to be sure.

I wanted to see if I’d like the smaller device better. The short answer is that I don’t like the smaller screen: I’d be disappointed all year if I kept the 12 Pro. The bigger screen is more immersive for everything: photos, videos, reading web pages, texting, even reading books. HDR will look amazing on the bigger screen. Also, I want the better cameras. Even if some don’t think the improvement will be noticeable, I think the in sensor image stabilization will be a big plus for be.

This may generate some funny jabs, but I like the way the larger device feels in hand, too. They had me at 6.7! ?
Thanks much for your input. I hoped I’d hear something along the lines of what you mentioned. The first “Plus” I purchased was the 6s Plus and never regretted it despite it being bigger. The battery was the top reason followed by the screen size. I kept it until the X made its first appearance. Though the X came in only one size I wanted the OLED. Fortunately it was pretty close to the same size screen as my 6s Plus. The battery was pretty close too if I remember correctly. I didn’t opt for the 7 or 8 Pluses because they didn’t take the tech as far as the X. Imagine my disappointment though when I discovered TOO LATE my X didn’t accommodate T-Mobile’s late acquisition of the 700Mhz 4G LTE band! I missed it by 2.5 months. When the Xs, Xs Max and Xr came out and accommodated it, I was angry and grudgingly kept the X for these past three years. What also kept me from anything new was all the talk about USB-C. I didn’t want to upgrade until that came out but with T-Mobile having added two more low MHz penetrating bands (the 700mhz 4g LTE and 600mhz 4G LTE) and (it seems) Apple will keep lightning forever, I capitulated on the 12 Max Pro. I don’t regret it as now I’ll have access to the two above 4G LTE bands plus their new 5G which I verified (with a friend’s new 12 Pro) I can see at my house! Sorry for the long missive, you can see I’m looking forward to my new gadget which now is about 200 miles away from its new home.?

I switched from the 7Plus to the X because I wanted the new tech, and since the X was all screen, I thought it was better than getting the 8 Plus with the big bezels. What I really wanted was what came next year, the XS Max. Yeah, baby!

I got it for the Cameras. Who I am kidding I do every year just cause..?
Same. For cameras too! Are you into photography too?
