how do I change it to to the hub? every year I pick it up there? if I do a close by access point wont it delay my shipment?

really dumb question, but i am still running iOS 11.4.1 on my SE,

-Do i need to update my old phone before doing a cloud restore on the new one?
-If i start new on the new phone, will icloud sync move over all my imessages(i dont think so)

2. Yes - Make sure you go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > iMessage toggled on

Just make sure you have enough iCloud storage to hold your messages. I signed up for an Apple One trial to have enough, I’ll then cancel after I’ve moved to my new phone. I like to start fresh to make sure my installation is squeaky clean.

Yeah, I actually don’t like it too but have to get the safest one since I’ll be out this weekend and wanted it protected. I really prefer clear case for this, but hate the magsafe at the back of the apple clearcase so just went with the silicon. Ordered a spigen crystal clear but will definitely try and see others once I get the chance to.

Anyway, here it is, the color really is so far from each other.

I wish that the leather case came in the same color of blue as the silicone, I might have gone for it instead of black.

So phone left Danville probably on to Decatur bypassing Champaign as per usual years to main Decatur hub before truck gets broken up to smaller loads and one comes back to the Urbana UPS like usual years LOL. I would be surprised to see it stay at Urbana but might be surprised will know in a hour or two

If it turns out it’s at the hub and hasn’t departed, I might try driving over there and asking pretty please if they can track it down and give it to me. It can’t hurt.

I switched from the 7Plus to the X because I wanted the new tech, and since the X was all screen, I thought it was better than getting the 8 Plus with the big bezels. What I really wanted was what came next year, the XS Max. Yeah, baby!

If I had the foresight of an Xs Max I def would have waited for it instead of picking up the X. I’m also pretty certain I’d still keep it this round, it would have the battery, screen and all the 4G connectivity T-Mobile currently has. Yes, I’d lack 5G but I believe I would wait another year even thought we have it in my city. As for the 12 series (four whole dang phones!), I don’t think there is any tech reason they’ll come out with an “s” version. These gems are pretty far out there!

Very interesting ... normally Apple packages from KY go to Houston first and then truck to Austin. I just got update arrival scan at 8:08pm in Austin.

That’s every model. They expect a unicorn wrapped in Adonis skin, decorated with pixey dust. I have every expectation of a slightly heavy Plus model, with a screen that I can’t wait to see what their version of “Dolby Vision” will be. Either way, I’ve always enjoyed each increment. There’s just a good series.
