Well the instant update method was fast. Abut 30 minutes now its populating with newest versions of apps that are specific to new phone (from what I read yesterday). No major glitches even the activation was almost instantaneous for me (AT&T) during the start of the transfer/setup from 11 ProMax to my new 12 Pro/Max. Only minor glitches is that only my ATM card (a visa) went in to Apple Pay with no trouble. My credit union card always has problems and some weirdness but seldom use so will have to go back to that. Even the syncing of my Apple Watch 4 (with 7.02) was fairly easy only glitch there was both cards wont work with watch but I really do not like to use watch for Apple Pay at stores. It seems to have issues with mailing address (in Apple Watch app on phone) and will not let me correct for some reason. Oh well not a big feature since I never was into the use of watch for Apple Pay

Here is image of new 12 ProMax on left and my trusty 11 ProMax for approximate size, colors ect. Getting ready to purchase old phone for return box coming mid next week now.

It’ll bittersweet saying goodbye to my XS Max. We went through a lot together.
Wait... did you get your phone? Are you the person leaving the country at 5 p.m.

Mine was made in week 45 in November at Foxconn.
Thank you @StaceyMJ86 you have been a kick ass person to converse with on here. I hope you love your new baby! Thanks for all of the USPS insights. I hope to still see you around these parts.

P.S. I watched Heredity in theaters and that movie WAS NOT what I was expecting. The scene with the telephone pole... holy heck!? Good movie though. I'm a sucker for scary/horror movies.

I remembered it was @SirLagalot that was leaving the country. Good luck to you, sir! Let us know if you get yours.

The telephone pole was a shocker. I was seriously creeped out when Annie was chasing Peter through the house.

Another slow burn creep fest by the same director is Midsommar

I’m no Einstein but I’m also not an idiot. Yet I cannot figure out how UPS maps its routes. My phone came up from the suburbs to my rural area, passed my main road, way passed, and is now headed back along another back and forth pattern.
Their navigation routing algorithms attempt to remove all left turns. Left turns are not only more dangerous but take a bit more time than right turns—even if the route is longer.

Congratulations to everyone who has received their new phones! Also, for those still waiting, keep the faith! It’ll be that much more exciting after all the anticipation. I’m really enjoying mine so far. Love the feel in my hand. I’m returning Apples clear case (it’s just not for me) and am now tempted to go au naturel - it’s just so pretty. The square sides feel far less squirmy than my 11 pro and my eyes appreciate the extra real estate when using the keyboard. This is definitely a keeper.

Hot damn it, y'all! The iPhone anxiety is real today! I heard a loud truck coming and got excited. Was disappointed to see it was the trash truck. No one I know ordered a Samsung phone, so it's not mine. ?

I'm sitting here working with my window open so I can hear and big trucks stopping by. It's 48 degrees outside! But worth being a little cold for.

Love this blue slab! The first and last time I’ll see the band without fingerprints. I do love the first few seconds after peeling off the screen film to see it without a speck of dust
That looks fantastic. I typically pick my up at the mall and walk straight over to the kiosk that puts on the screen protectors. I've not actually touched the screen on my last 2 phones. Weird. This year, I'll be peeling off the film and putting it on myself. A third phone that will never have it's screen touched. It's kind of sad. But I'm a total klutz, so I'm not going without.
