Keeping the PRO MAX model for sure I love the screen size. PRO model might keep it for back up 🤷‍♀️

If I was you I would return the Pro model and keep the pro max model. More screen, more battery life, better cameras and so much more.

It's gonna be a rough decision for me because I'm quickly being reminded of why I gave up on my iPhone 7 Plus back in the day. I have small hands and I always had to use two hands to text with that phone because I was always worried about dropping the phone if I tried to text with just one hand. My 12 Pro Max is quickly reminding me of those days.

However..... I love silver phones and I have always chosen this color since who knows when. I wasn't able to find a good, white translucent colored case on Amazon that I liked or wasn't too expensive. So I had to settle for a black case on my 12 Pro which I was bummed about but oh well. But I found the perfect case for my 12 Pro Max that I'm liking a lot. This silly reason alone might just push me in to keeping my 12 Pro Max. Better battery? Better camera? Better screen? Those reasons aren't enough for me. But having the right case? That could be the reason! lol

But A14 chip is very efficient performance wise. You don’t have to worry. You’ll be wondering why is my iPhone not low on battery lol
Battery is VERY impressive so far. After starting it up, updating to 14.2. Wiping it out and starting over again, installing apps. Taking photos, video I only dropped down to 95%. That's just unreal! I would have been well below 85, 80% on my old phone.

what phone was your old phone,I assume it was not the 11Pro Max? That was the best battery life they have ever put in their phones...

I popped my sprint SIM card into my new unlocked 12 pro max and it says its locked. Any idea how to fix this?
I think you should have picked, the sprint version on the apple store, they then put a sprint sim in it even though your phone is unlocked. then you just activate it on sprint. You can't use the 11 pro max in the 12 pro max. You could go to sprint(tmobile) tomorrow, and just have them activate it for you, by putting in a new sim for you. that's what I did 2 years ago with my XS Max,

You know you’re keeping it. A girls got to accessorize! Different phone, different case, whatever works with the wardrobe that might, no? 😜

That sucks and is stupid. Is this just a sprint thing? I should be able to just pop my sim in and go.

This is MacWorld’s torture test on the phone batteries. “To measure battery life we calibrate the display to 200 nits and run the battery from full to empty using the Geekbench 4 battery test.” I think we’ll find that the 12PM battery life is impressive based upon the silicon improvements.

Well this is fun. My delivery just got imported again in KY even after it spent the day in Minneapolis. Delivery date reset to Monday. Pretty frustrated.
mine took a whole night to travel 300 miles to my city. something about the "severe weather" that I haven't heard anything about. now its been sitting at the sorting facility since 2:40, and has not moved. HUGE BUMMER. I was so stoked for today. still rocking my 6S.

sprint SIM cards are different, because one sim belongs to one phone. its weird I know, but that's what I was told. so unless you have a sim that was provided in the unlocked phone, you can't use your old sim. I know tmobile, att they let you use the same SIM card sometimes in another phone. last time, I was frustrated too to activate my new iPhone, but when you go to the store, they can set it up in a few minutes.

I do have a question, something small I noticed.
With the camera...ok I figured out why I wasn't hearing the "Shutter" sound when I was taking a regular photo. (Live Mode apparently disables that sound, I never really used Live photo anyway)

BUT turning off live mode and hitting the SHOOT button the sound is kid of faint. However when I take a pic in Portrait mode, the shutter sound is much louder.

Is that just me? It's odd.

Didn’t get mine till almost 7 pm but got it, got everything swapped over (first time doing phone to phone) and loving it. Coming from a 7+ this is my first home-button-less phone and the new gestures and things are gonna take me a while to get used to.

Did anyone else have a weird brightness bug when they first turned on their iPhone 12 pro max? I was wondering why my 12 pro max was less bright than my 11 pro max at the same brightness setting. No matter how much I raised the brightness level it stayed at the same brightness. A hard reset(vol up, down, power button) fixed it, but that was such a odd bug especially after just powering on the phone after unboxing.
