Well, we ordered two iPhones through Verizon to upgrade our current iPhones. 12 mini for SO and 12 Pro for me. The mini arrived within a couple days and will be replacing an iPhone 7. The 12 Pro has a lead time of Jan 6th and will replace the XR. Hopefully stock comes in sooner. >.<

Welp. Verizon kinda messed up. Originally iPhone Pro was backordered Jan 6th. They did something on their end last week which canceled it then tried redoing the order which pushed it out to Feb lol...sigh. So, I said f that. Asked them to cancel entirely, cut out the middle man and got an 512G iPhone Pro Max (Blue) through Apple same day delivery.

While I really did not and do not particularly enjoy just how huge it is, I have been happy with it overall.
The camera is a big boost from the XR and the battery has been stellar. Snappier, speedier, yada yada...new phone stuff per usual.

SO has enjoyed their 12 mini. I think this is the first time we’ve both been on the same number series. As quoted, they’re coming from a 7. So there’s been huge improvements for them, not to mention the battery alone has been a life saver for them at work. Nurse so not having to worry about needing to charge it has made them very happy. 7 didn’t much hold a charge even after a battery replacement.

All in all, I think the 12 is a decent series for folks and offers enough selections that if you’re thinking about upgrading from something older than the X it’s not too shabby.

My order status still says Processing, but my Apple Card was charged this morning. Finally some hope on the horizon!

Yes, if your card was just charged, it's going to go to PFS real soon and by tomorrow you'll get the tracking and it will mark "Shipped" on apple status.

Wondering about buying as a gift from Apple - how do I keep it a surprise? Family on TMobile - at checkout it asks for phone number to send one-time verification code. Don't want to send to spouse of course, so I put in my number instead of spouse's. Will it mess up activation? Or do I just put in the old SIM on Xmas day and it will be fine?

I will say that it likely will not. My watch I ordered was supposed to be delivered on 12/11/2020, but it was still in Osaka, JP on Thursday, and didn't didn't actually depart Osaka, JP till Friday morning my time. Right now it's at UPS CC ready for me to pick it up. I'm going to take a wild guess that it will arrive 12/16/2020.

Atlantic Canada. It was scanned in Moncton on Friday evening. I should get it anyday now. Now if only peel didn't take 2 weeks to ship my cases I would have them around the same time I would receive my phone.

I’m participating in the iPhone Upgrade Program and I just got charged my first monthly payment for my iPhone 12 Pro! I was charged the tax earlier this week.

I had ordered on Nov 28, 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue.. Still in processing. Also since someone else had ordered for me, I can't really check if the charge was made on their card. But hoping for some status change ..as my delivery date is 16-23 🤞

Congrats enjoy your new iPhone a lot! When do you plan upgrading? Also from what device you came from? Interesting to see that 11/22 iPhones are still delivering. I ordered 11/28 and supposely i have scheduled delivery for tomorrow but i suspect it will be later from that date. Stay safe!

I came from 6s so this phone is an absolute beast. I'll probably upgrade again when iPhone cameras are able to take better night photos (e.g. night skies, milky way etc). This will probably be another 3-5 more years but who knows. I hope you get your new iPhone soon!

I too hate the 2 week wait I had to wait for my peel cases that I ordered on 11/24. They are expected to be delivered tomorrow. To be honest, I’m liking this Casekoo pacific blue case on my phone now and may just hold on to the peel cases to use at a later date.

That’s the same one I ordered, but I ordered mine the 29th. So yours should be ready to go any time I would think!

I just got the email that mine shipped! So now I’m back to obsessively checking the tracking. I still says delivery is the 30th, but maybe it will get here sooner.

Nobody home . I think i have to let my family members know i am sending my phone. Thought there was somebody at home, i am in Europe. Well, for logistics purposes my phone did arrive same day from South Korea to Miami. Hoping it can get delivered tomorrow.

You could call them and see if you can request a ups cc hold for pick up same day. Thats what i did when they couldnt deliver it to my house. I called UPS and told them that i would like to pick it up at UPS CC same day and they allowed me. Just had to wait for the driver to get back to facility

Not that it matters, but I just learned that because our State government loosened up some of the gathering orders, Apple store near me is reopening this Thursday, 12/17/2020. Going to pick up a pair of AirPods Max.

Is it the 12 Pro? or the 12 Pro Max? Anyways, since the status changed so it seems like yours is getting ready to be boxed up. Did you check to see if your card was charged?

Yeah, it's the 12 Pro 128 PacificBlue, that kind of explains the delay. I, unfortunately, can't check my card, because my friends' friend (3rd level contact) placed an order for me from the 'Apple Friends & Family EPP' and I am not in direct contact with them.
But yes, given it is still within the specified date range, I would assume it to get shipped sometime soon.

As for UPS my delivery it's not possible to use UPS MyChoice as every time I try in different computers and browsers to sign up for a MyChoice account it says that the request its not possible. I called UPS and even talked to technical support and they told me for my order it wouldn't be possible to setup the MyChoice as it has more than 5 days since the label was created. I also spoke to Apple and they told me they couldn't reschedule the delivery for time and hour, that the most that they can do is to put me to arrange it on a UPS center, which I declined as my family is so busy that's even more unlikely they will go to a place to pick it up.

So I will monitor the delivery on these days, hoping that it arrives tomorrow without a hitch... if not I have to worry and call UPS or ask my brother to go with his ID to pick it up somewhere. The other thing is that if my family confirms me that the third delivery attempt is not possible then I will have to call again Apple for another plan of action.

Otherwise if you get the infonotice, you could sign it on the back and stick it on the door. I got that one for one of the iphones as they refused to just leave it there. I signed the back of it, and they then were able to leave it the next day. Do you have an apple store near you?
