Got my gold Max on launch day, you’re going to love it. It’s a beautiful color! I have the Apple leather cases on mine. They really are nice and have a great feel. Just my preference. I haven’t found a clear one that I like yet... enjoy! The camera is awesome

I bet.... I got the silver 12 pro along with the 12 pro max. Not sure if you saw my thread but I compared the 12 pro max to the 12 pro for astronomy. I used the nightcap app in star trails mode (ISO 6400) and the max picked up fainter stars. 23 minutes exposures. It’s a great app for shots like this...

I'm trying to order for a store pick up here in the Uk and since last night til today the inventory is constantly changing in all the stores.. Mainly out of stock on the pro max but every few hours the odd unit arrives.. Why is this? is it customer unopened returns? I just curious

That’s strange because all iPhones are being shipped via overseas from China. Did you do store pick up or something LOL
That is correct, however when Apple has plenty of them in stock, they ship directly from their warehouses in U.S.

Like if you were to order an iPhone SE right now, it would ship directly from the warehouse and not from China since there are plenty of stock, same goes for the iPhone 11 and the XR, I'm also certain that the iPhone 12, since if you order it now the soonest you can get it for delivery is 12/15/2020 (Tuesday), so it's definitely stored in the warehouse ready to ship if you order today. Same goes for the 12 Mini.

Only phones right now that isn't stocked up at the warehouse is the 12 Pro and the 12 Pro Max. But eventually they will be.

Apple is using a hybrid delivery approach. Using their stores to ship out stock as well

But he ended up receiving the pro max from a warehouse though.

How are you liking your Pro Max? I feel like I could see myself keeping this phone until 2022, but I know deep down inside the upgrade itch is going to show up once the next iPhone is announced
Hahah I’m loving it. Best phone ever. I love the camera, battery life, how fast it is and so much more... New 2021 iPhone will be announced and released in September so I’ll be ordering it haha - hope you will too.

I know that we only just receoved our new phones, but I’m already looking forward to next year 😂. I’m hoping that Apple sticks with this design for the next phone since I’m stoked to have this form again. I can’t wait! Until then though, I will continue to enjoy my 12 PM to the max...😉.

A friend ordered an iPhone 12 Pro Max Pacific Blue 256GB on 11/27 via Apple.com. The shipper created a UPS label on 12/4. It left ZhengZhou, China on 12/7 for Incheon, S. Korea, and then onto Anchorage, AK, and then onto Louisville, KY, before arriving at Mather Sacramento Airport, CA on 12/8. UPS then delivered the iPhone on 12/9. The iPhone has to be released in China (there were two release actions on the UPS tracking app) and then cleared by customs on first entry into the US.
