Merry Christmas everybody!!! Hope you are all getting your phones for Christmas!, Well you know those shipments that were already in transit. That you are with your loved ones and everybody in good health. Hoping that 2021 is a better year for everyone.
Thanks! Ordered an iPhone SE for a family member that was supposed to arrive on 12/23. FedEx decided to go from TN to IN and back to TN and of course delaying my shipment.. for no good reason either as yes there were flight delays but a few planes left TN to my town on Tuesday night. At first it was showing pending delivery date and giving me a heart attack that I was going to have to wait till Monday to get it.. Luckily it came yesterday and crisis was averted.

Well... still no phone for me. Was expecting it tomorrow (December 29). Apple updated my info on the order page, incorrectly charged me, activated the original "phantom phone" and now I'm left without service for my current phone and I've spent 4 hours on chat with Apple, and was left with a "probable" ship date of Jan 4-6 (🙄) and still no service on my current phone b/c I need to contact ATT to deactivate my original Pro Max that never came, and re-activate my broken iPhone. Over 20+ years as an Apple customer and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with Apple.

I’m sorry that you’re going through this. Hopefully you get your phone before Jan 4-6 and hopefully Apple can compensate you for what you’re going through.

I got two home pod minis since mine didn't ship yet.
Haha, Apple has enough home pods to give away, not many people buy them. My 12 pro should also ship soon, ordered 12/05 and to be received 01/04. So something should happen soon...
Was hoping to receive it this week, since it mentioned ready to be sent in 2-3 weeks. So that would have been last Saturday. If UPS would be quick I could receive tomorrow or thursday.

Unfortunately my situation has gotten worse. Without derailing the thread, Apple basically has been silent with me, and ATT will not reactivate my current phone. Without having service I cant use 2FA to sign in and they wont send me a new SIM card without signing in. ATT has been terrible through all of this, and Apple has been just passing the problem on since December 4th! Thanks for all the well wishes! Really considering getting this phone, sending it back, and ending my service at ATT now that I'm out of contract.

My phone shipped from China on the 15th, and it still said my delivery day was the 30th, like Apple said. But then it changed to the 22nd, which was exciting. Then it said delay, then the 18th, then it was stuck on “check back for an estimated delivery”, then it was the 21st, and then last night and this morning it was supposed to be delivered today! Which would be great because I’m off this weekend and would have time to play with it. But about 10 minutes ago it just changed to “delay” and “check back later.”

I really just need to stop obsessing over the tracking. It will get here when it gets here. (I say this knowing full well I’m not going to do that.)
Mine's doing the same thing as yours..flipping back and forth between shipped and delayed and then be here tomorrow then check back later, etc. etc. Guess it will get here when it gets here.

That’s just terrible. I’m surprised Apple isn’t trying to help you more with this.

Even though I just bought an SE 2020 this Summer I think I am going to upgrade to a 12. Not sure what model yet. The stimulus payment plus some money I have saved will allow me to do so. I can go all the way to a pro Max and spend less than $1K due to a discount I get for being an Apple Vendor Employee. I am going to keep the SE and likely have two lines on my prepaid verizon account.

Happy New Year!!! After having my Pro Max for a month and a half, I’m now on the fence if I’m going to upgrade again this year. It all depends on what Apple bring to the table with this year’s upgrade. I love the color and this phone so much I don’t want to part with it or use another device

I agree. Feel the same about my 12 also.

Happy New Year! Same here! I love my Pacific Blue - I’ve been waiting for Apple to make one of the flagship phones in my favorite color and they finally did! Because of this, I want to keep it for at least two years max before upgrading again. It’s such a beautiful phone, I’d hate to part with it too. Blue all the way!

Working for an Apple Vendor I get 15% off most purchases so I can get the 128GB storage Pro Max for less than $1K and the 256 GB Model for less than $1100. I do have money saved so I just have to decide which model to get if I get the Pro Max.
