That's actually what they do. All phones assigned a lot number. Lot number assigned a plane. Plane takes off and if it's tied to the system produces a scan. Everything is inside one big pallet and won't be opened or broken apart until after it goes through customs at worldport in KY.
This exactly my phone said it was arriving in Kentucky 11/2 which didint make any sense as I had the same scans as everyone else.

Still stuck in ZZ but have a firm charge for the phone now at least. Watch is still a pending charge.

All I’m saying is when I wake up I better see some movement; otherwise I’m going to sit and press refresh on my. UPS app all day again.

One year, I had an Apple package (iPad, I think) fly straight from China to Dallas on Fedex, and it cleared customs in Dallas: it didn’t go to Anchorage, as is usual. Our iPhones probably will go through the normal process, but these companies can make magic happen to meet their scheduled deliveries. Mistakes happen, but almost all of us will get them on 9/21 as scheduled.

Ya last year tracking was much better. I can’t imagine that my phone is still sitting in China. This year I got my tracking number quick but only got two updates. Last year it took for ever to get the tracking number but I was able to see it move every step that it took. I’d prefer it that way. At this point I don’t see the tracking to update till my hold for delivery is complete. Best part about getting the iPhone is trying to figure out where it’s at. This year my phone has gone dark. Lol

Well, crud. Yesterday watch delivery changed from 9/21 to tentative. Today phone did the same thing.
Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much. Mine's been tentative since I began tracking it. I remember seeing things like this in previous years.
