The phone? I’m sure it’ll show up on time. The case? Not so much.

Unless you financed through AT&T, it will be unlocked.

Reference: FAQ on Appl website
Nearly all iPhone models sold on apple.com are “unlocked” — which means your iPhone isn’t tied to a single carrier. If you choose carrier financing from AT&T or Verizon, your iPhone will be tied to your carrier, which may also include limitations on the eSIM.
My order defaulted to ATT when I tried to select sim free. I paid in full. Both Apple and ATT told me yesterday if my phone is locked I could call ATT and they would unlock it for me.

Here you go: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/e8e057b99a6e46899190ce1ecf826420

You'll see inside of the Get Contents of URL action > Advanced > Request Body, you'll need to go into Security and fill in the Username Token dictionary with your UPS username and pass. Then inside the UPSServiceAccessToken is where the API key goes. I just have placeholders in those fields, so you just have to change them to your info. TrackRequest also has a field for your tracking number.

Then you can change the output text as well. There's things like times and dates in the API response but I'm not sure how to format them properly so that Siri doesn't read out a weird number string (i.e. "054600" should be turned into 5:46am)

I am having the darndest time finding the documentation for the api, from stackoverflow, it seems TimeInTransitRequest might be what I need to get that string for the time?

Oh yeah I edited it like a second after I posted it, I thought I caught it quick enough that no one saw it, so I didn’t add a edit at the bottom. My bad lol
Not fast enough lol I've had this forum open in a tab since last night and get an email as soon as someone post so Im back ina flash

Am I missing something? It looks like it’s on track for a 9/19 delivery, unless I’m misreading it.
It claims to be, but it only shows an origin scan in KY earlier today. Based on what time I get my UPS delivery, an on time arrival is looking unlikely.

Finally show up on UPS. Zhenghou, China. Still showing delivery on Friday (9/21).

There’s some documentation in their developer area but it doesn’t really give any of the endpoints or values really, it just kind of gives you a zip file of PDFs that have sample responses.

The fact that it’s still in Kentucky is fine. It can still get on the truck early in the morning in your city and get to you tomorrow easily. My stuff often doesn’t leave KY until after midnight, and I get it the next day. I could certainly be wrong, but I think it'll arrive tomorrow. Hope so. :)

My phone has the 2:10 A.M. arrival scan in ZhengZhou, but it doesn't show that it was part of any departures from there. My watch is in Shanghai. I'm jealous of their lives.

I'm not a fan of this no scan life.

I'm usually one of the lucky ones on the outside looking in feeling sorry for those people who have phones that are seemingly just sitting in one place while I gleefully track my new phone, but this year I have finally seen what it is like from the other side... it is a dark place friends...

Yes it is

I think if they are on a plane it should be to Alaska. Last year some of the phones went straight from ZZ to Alaska.
oh good info!! that did not happen to me last year but it would make sense give the hurricane - i.e avoid HK and just ship em over direct to Alaska. if so we won't get an update for another 10 Horus or so

It’s the opposite for me, the past few years my phone is always sitting there forever until the last minuet, while this year I’m seeing all the scans and tracking the flights.

If apple wants to raise prices even more they should offer the "full tracking feature" for 29.99 extra so you can watch each exact step.

"The pilot of your UPS plane just yelled at air traffic control" or "your plane from ZhangZhou to Hong Kong just landed and your flight to Alaska will begin tracking in 3.5 hours".

I suppose I shouldn't give them any more ideas to raise prices.

Do we think the 2:10 ZZers will scan in at Alaska
eventually- it all ends up in Alaska.
