I'm almost positive it is. Because the same UPS 99 is then going to Louisville, KY 2 hours later. Unless they can unload a whole cargo plane in 2 hours, thats the one.

That's how the flight from ZZ to Incheon was yesterday it left Incheon and continued to AK

We think a UPS tracking outage this morning might be delaying some scans. It may be on the flight headed to AK right now

Mine was grey as well but i could still choose it. For me different types of locations where different shades UPS store was orange lockers where yellowish and the CC's where super light almost grey.

The UPS CC I chose opens at 9 am while others few miles out open at 8 am. When I googled for nearby CC this specific one shows closed all 7 days. So I double checked if this CC was even functional.

Pickup at Apple or UPS?

I pre-ordered on Apple. But I opted to pick it up and chose a time slot for Friday. I just don't know how it works. Does it mean they have it reserved for me? I was charged for it already.

For cities with multiple CC locations, where packages arrive at one and then go to the other before going out for delivery, is it safe to choose the one your packages go Out for Delivery from to hold it without delay?

My packages arrive at my city via a CC far away from me, then go to one close to me, then get scanned out for delivery. So I assume I can safely pick the CC nearest to me and be ok but I need to be SURE.

I'm hoping that we are on flight UPS63 and that with the UPS tracking problems this morning that we will see a scan when we arrive in Anchorage. Wishful thinking... We'll know in about 2 1/2 hours...

I'm thinking we're on UPS63, just so everyone knows just because the system is "down for us" doesn't mean scans stop happening. UPS would still have access either way.

Yes you just go sometime between the times chosen and pick it up they do this so there isn't a huge line of people doing pickups. But it is reserved

My phone, which has a delivery date of Sept 28-Oct 5 has switched to "Preparing to Ship." Could that be an indication that it'll arrive this Friday??

Likely not. Once your status goes to PFS stage, your label is being created. So likely next week is when you may expect delivery.

Makes sense. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the tracking party and will be in the dark until launch day I assume and they confirm my pickup time.

In my experience yes. The one by my home is the BIG one in Sylmar luckily it's the one that farms them out to other UPS hubs also. So it's usually a matter of them moving them from one part of the lot to the other. It will literally show times of them moving on my detail.

My office hub is/has been Ontario, also a BIG one for the southern part, so some go their first then go to a local Baldwin park distribution center (probably the right term) then to my office. So Baldwin Park would be my CC if I was having it delivered to the office.

I think they are now moving these things regardless of tracking for the sake of delivering on time. At least I hope. I’ve been in HK since the 17th.
