I'm not at all sure anyone is still really stuck in ZZ. I think the scan reports are off. After years of doing this I'm confident that if your order says it will deliver 9/21 you'll have it on 9/21. Sometimes you're down to the wire and think, no way, and magically it appears at your doorstep or at your CC. Every year.

I agree.... as someone who works in a very large global logistics organization ... these things happen - all the time - scans fail, jobs abbend... at only certain points in the process does the data reset itself ... I suspect that something went a bit off when a group of pallets were scanned to a plane .... and the system has yet to reset itself .... last year I saw very few updates and then all of a sudden .... less than 24 hours before I had the phone in hand .... UPS posted all of the scans a one time .... so I still have ...... hope .....

I see a posts stuck at Incheon 9/19/2018 7:59 PM, Mine is tuck at Incheon 8:10 PM from 9/18/18 and hasn't moved. I wonder if both will go out at the same time.
 
Me too!!Both my phones have a departure scan from Chek Lap Kok Hong Kong since last night. Nothing on them as of yet.
Did you track in with Flightaware? That's the only reason I know mine is in Louisville. Last UPS scan shows departure from Anchorage but the flight with a matching departure time landed in Louisville some time ago, scan just hasn't updated yet.

Ordered 2 iPhone XS Max 64GB Space Gray (10 mins apart)

First order departed last night from Alaska (should be in Louisville by now) + the other iPhone is stuck in Korea for the last 2 days.
 
So question... if I changed my mind about the color, what can I do? Just keep checking every morning starting Friday to try and reserve the color I want at a store and hope it shows up?

Then if it does I bring mine in for an exchange?

If you don't mind buying on a carrier check Best Buy some still have them for Friday in store pickup
 
Chicago here, stuck in Incheon, hoping to be on 99 and see some changes pretty quickly here.

Also while we're killing time what are people thinking regarding stock of cases in stores? We have 2 flagships here and I imagine the lines are going to be chaotic. Thinking of grabbing a silicon or leather but also considering ordering something similar to a peel with a top notch screen protector. Thoughts?
I know many people really like the Apple cases. I wish they would make a clear one. I never want to hide the phone inside a case so I always get a clear TPU case. This time I went with a Spigen Liquid Crystal Clear from Amazon. I used to use a screen protector but lately the glass is more sturdy so I stopped using one and never had a scratch or ding despite a few drops.

I am planning on heading to the LP store once my phone arrives to get a leather case and a Belkin screen protector.
Thinking the same thing- I got it shipped to my office right across the way and am planning on heading out to grab them as soon as it comes in. Best of luck, I'm sure it'll be a madhouse

mine left ZZ last night at 7:30PM but didn't get updated until this AM.

Flight 99 is a 747-400 so probably carrying a lot more than the MD11 did yesterday. (Might bring today's Incheon cargo as well as the 8:10 crew from yesterday that remained)

Can’t do it that way. I already bought the XS Max via Apple on my AT&T line so I think my only option is to exchange the Space Grey at Apple if I find a Gold model
